Re: MicPort Pro from CEntrance. Any thoughts?
Maybe the one I had was faulty then. It certainly wasn't much use. I'm looking forward to the new CEntrance MixerFace (why 'Face'?). I hope it's good, it certainly has all the boxes ticked except midi input. No specs yet, so no real idea about mic gain, headroom or headphone amp volume. At least it ...

Re: Auria brand new not working
Email: support@auriaapp.com That is your most direct route to getting help from the developer. Although the main (possibly only) developer - called Rim - is usually very active on these forums, he is busy with writing an update at the moment. I'm sure, however, that you will get the support you need...

Re: Focusrite Pro 40 MacBook Pro 2013
Hi, I just bought a Focusrite Pro 40 and since it suggested I buy a thunderbolt adapter to firewire (since my macbook doesn't have firewire I did), but it didn't come with a firewire 400 to 800 cable. So I bought a Rocketfish FireWire 800 Cable with 6Pin Adapter... but it didn't work. I don't know ...

Re: Auria, iPad Air, Apogee Quartet & PreSonus FaderPort
FaderPort has a proper motorised full length fader. It's a proper full sized piece of kit.
Korg NanoKontrol is small and squishy and horrible. And it has an unnecessary 'K' in its name.

Rule 1: Don't update your OS until your DAW is ready.

Re: Auria, iPad Air, Apogee Quartet & PreSonus FaderPort
I haven't done it, because I don't have the equipment you listed. But, assuming you have a 'Quartet for iPad', it has a midi port in the back of it. So you should be able to plug the FaderPort into that. No hub needed.

Re: Need help with mackie dl806
As a start, go into setting (inside Auria) and turn "App Background Audio Mode" to ON Then plug the iPad into the Mackie, restart Auria and grab a screenshot of the Input Matrix. Screenshots - you need to press the 'Home' key on the iPad and the on/off button on the top of the iPad at the ...

It runs at 48KHz - are you on the right sample rate in Auria?

OK, that's good. The text from their FAQ is "What apps can be used for playback or recording? iPad applications can play back stereo audio to a DL Series mixer over the dock connector via a dedicated channel labeled “iPad” in the Mackie Master Fader control application. The main L/R signal is a...

Re: Auria SOOO sluggish
I've been waiting for an update for MT DAW for over a year. The forum is dead. Posts go unanswered. I've been waiting for SAWStudio to be updated since Nov 2011. The only thing forthcoming are lies. I've been waiting for PreSonus to get some decent technical support and customer service and fix the ...

Re: Need help with mackie dl806
What makes you think the Mackie will work with Auria? It's not a Class Compliant device - the idea of the Mackie DL series is live sound controlled by a dedicated app on the ipad. That doesn't mean that every other app will work. I don't think the Mackie is intended to do what you're trying. Maybe I...

Re: Connecting a Focusrite 18i20 to an ipad mini
If you've got a Lightning equipped iPad, you don't need to think about the 30pin cable. The Lightning to USB cable is the correct thing to use, but it is often important that it is a genuine Apple one, not a 3rd party version. The hub may or may not be needed, it just depends. When a hub is required...

Not clear if a ipad mini will fit - the website doesn't list it but the presenter says "All current iPads".
No monitor mix control either. Shame.
