Re: Mixdown adds seconds of silence to file end

It should always be 20 seconds exactly. This is done to make sure any reverb tails are finished playing. I'm planning on having this as an option in the mixdown page. Rim So does it add the 20 seconds to a locater-selected range too? I don't need this extra dead space! Personally, I prefer to have ...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"

At some future point, I'd love to see a function that prepared a text summary of a mix, so, for example, you might see the following: Track #, Audio file name, Subgroup, Insert Slot 1 device (if enabled), Insert Slot 2 device (if enabled), Insert Slot 3 device (if enabled), Insert Slot 4 device (if ...

Mixdown adds seconds of silence to file end

I'm finding that Auria is now adding up to 20 seconds of silence at the end of the mixed WAV file. This varies from 14 to 20 seconds (on the last 3 projects I mixed). I am using 'Entire Song' as the Selection Range.

Any ideas? I know I can try setting locators, but this used to work fine.

Re: Active Auria Artists Demos/Masters

Here's another of my NanoStudio compositions mixed in Auria. This one's called Changeling (Final mix):

Very pleased with the spaciousness that I can get with Auria!

Ciao,

Re: Active Auria Artists Demos/Masters

Here's a remix of one I posted earlier that ended up a victim of the FabFilter Preset weirdness. Here it is remixed properly.

Thanks for writing this, it's a great article! Rim Rim, Thanks for your kind words. It is your creation that is responsible... Re: Article on Workflows Using NanoStudio and Auria

Great article! One question: where does Reason fit into your setup/workflow? Actually, for the most part, right now, Reason isn't part of my workflow. I use the iPad pretty much exclusively for music now. Reason was my DAW of choice (I also had Logic) for the last few years on the Mac. I had a piec...

Re: Article on Workflows Using NanoStudio and Auria

Good article, thanks Dominic Nice work and informative Thanks Gents, I'm sure that there's nothing too earth-shakingly new, but there seems to be a real need for workflow examples that are presented in a graphical fashion and thereby reduce the number of questions one gets after the fact. I ...

Check out the Roland Duo-Capture EX. It's very affordable, interfaces (including MIDI) really well with the iPad and sounds great.

Re: Auria Only Recording Studio?

Other than one project I had already started in Reason, but mixed and finished in Auria, I use the iPad exclusively now for music. I started using Auria on an iPad 1 64GB but then upgraded to an iPad 4 128GB, specifically to be equipped for music production and photographic processing.

Re: Active Auria Artists Demos/Masters

OK, here's my first Auria mix that's up on SoundCloud now. Ideas for this started in NanoStudio, then migrated to Reason 6.5 on my Mac. I decided, however, to use it as a mix project for Auria. This is a 23-track original piece that uses the following effects: Drumagog ClassicVerb Pro Convolution Re...

Re: Plugin Counts?

Syrupcore, So far (not counting exactly), but I have run at least a couple of dozen effects on roughly 20-24 tracks on an iPad 1. Now, the way you do this is with the Freeze Track function. Once you've got a track's efx chain the way you want it, freeze the track and Auria renders it down to an audi...
