Re: ETA on MIDI integration?
We all just want you to be quicker with MIDI than Steinberg is with Automation, so that you can take it all

Re: Wish list for 2014 for Auria
And what about 512 bits?? I want to be able to make a song with sounds from Mars, with my new ultra-directional HDR mic pointed at the sky and 48000 volts phantom power. Pretty please?? No sorry, but really, how much more useless stuff must the industry invent to leach the last bits of money out of ...

Re: Auria SOOO sluggish
I was wondering this myself, because even with the most forgiving math, "early March" would be over the day after tomorrow But I can wait if the update is what I think it will be

Re: No updates for auria?
There's really only one single thing missing to make Auria the first complete, professional all-round DAW for iPad. But, I'll shut up now. The last thing Rim needs now is (perceived) pressure

Re: No updates for auria?
Pretty patient here. If this update is what probably everyone thinks it is, it will revolutionize iOS music making

Re: Best way to transfer song from ITunes music library to A
So I guess when dealing with sounds that mostly consist of low frequencies, you can hear the amplitude quantization of the individual samples at low bit depths, because they're not masked by higher frequency sounds? (Sorry if i took this totally off-topic)

Re: Best way to transfer song from ITunes music library to A
Well, if your source material is 16 bit as well, then there is no loss in fidelty. Of course, if your source is 24 bit, then there is (that is what I said too -- "If source and destination formats are identical"). However, I'm still interested in seeing a double blind test where anyone can...

Re: Best way to transfer song from ITunes music library to A
the more processes the audio goes through, the more the audio loses some fidelity before Auria This is true for analog processes, not for digital copies, which are lossless, as long as the source and destination formats (Sampling Rate, Bit Depth) are identical and the destination format is uncompre...

Re: Volume automation without fader?
Sometimes, I find it amazing how someone asks an extremely simple and straightforward question, and 10 people gather to not understand it and interpret the most intergalactically remote things into it :) It's funny, pretty much everyone seems to have this problem, but no DAW that I know of offers a ...

Re: IAA with multiple channels?
Holy moly! Sending data with about 100 times the intended bandwidth, and with such stability and without significant impact on the CPU -- CoreMIDI must *really* be pretty awesome!because they send the audio through a midi connection

Re: IAA with multiple channels?
Thanks Rim. Of course, Apple getting rid of the "One instance per App" limitation would be far more useful, however I guess this limitation is entrenched so deeply in iOS since the very beginning that this will probably stay forever...

IAA with multiple channels?
Hi, will it be possible at a later stage to route several seperate stereo signals from a single app to seperate stereo tracks in Auria? For example, Sampletank can provide up to 4 sounds simultaneously controlled on seperate MIDI channels and as you currently can only load each app once, this would ...
