Try deactivating the pencil tool at the top of the editor page (next to the velocity display). I think that defaults to active when you enter the editor.
Good luck

Re: Effects send and return help
Hi Please Can Someone Help me I'm new to Syria pro and want to know the best settings to record a vocal track with external effects from my 3rd party app vocal live One option is to not use the Aux, but insert the effect in the channel strip for your vocal track. Press fx on your track, and on the ...

Re: Fugue machine: receiving input from wrong channels - why?
I believe this has to do with an easily confusing part of ios midi - the difference between midi channels and midi ports. Added to this is each dev may handle the implementation differently. I test this, based on your desire to have FM running outside of AP. In FM midi settings disable all playheads...

Re: Bouncing audio out of a midi track into a separate stereo track
Try using the mixdown function;
Solo the miditrack and set your locators, select mixdown from the edit menu, set options to your liking as well as import as new track to yes. Hit ok and you should have it.
Not sure about if the bus inputs work that way.....

Re: TRACK COLORS ON MIXER
Why not colour the whole mixer channel like pro tools. That would be nice. I believe the point brought up was the contrast of the text, and effort it would take to recode it. Auria has all white text over gray in the mixer, and if a “light” track color were the background it would be hard to read. ...

Something that has come up before - and something I’d really love to have as well.
Issue was about where -
I’ve thought that “behind” the mute solo buttons might work...

Re: Is Auria 2.18 working for everyone?
We can always count on Rim to lay out the facts! Although it brings up a point for me - I was an Auria user previously, and because I could afford it I just purchased AP outright - as I felt the effort Rim had put in was worth it. I did have a few FF, and others, plugins in Auria and used the transf...

Re: Sub groups overkill
WM With honest respect to your background and views on sub groups.... I’ve been involved in live corporate events for more than 30 years, and have worked as a production manager for 15 of those. I’ve had the pleasure of having world class sound reinforcement engineers on 100s of events. And there’s ...

Re: Is Auria 2.18 working for everyone?
Air2, iOS 11.x. Bought AP direct. Current projects opening and running fine. *still reports 2.17 on settings page, although from I understand, 2.18 was primarily geared towards upgraders. *my projects use some AU and FF fx, but no AU synths - I tend to keep synths “outside” of AP via AB. I mention t...

Re: No sound going to master channel.
Robert A couple of of obvious things to check - Does the same thing happen in a new project? Force quit everything and reboot iPad? Are you using any fx, either the channel strip, built in, or IAA/AU? I had a project develope the same issue recently. First thing I've did was back up the project. The...

Re: New to Auria
Welcome to Auria! In the Mixdown window, select "Stems" in the file type drop down. This will give you a wave file per track (with silence between clips, as well as any fx on the channels strips and automation). https://s3.amazonaws.com/auria.store/docs/Auria+Pro+User+Guide.pdf Here's a link to the ...

Re: Insert for hardware effects?
I'd recommend doing your send to your external fx through the iCA4; Presuming your instrument is in input one - use iConfig to route that input to both an iPad input as well as one of the iCA4 outs. Plug that out into your fx, and the fx's out into the next iCA4 input. Route that input to another iP...

Re: Recording Amplitube into Auria....
To me, this seems like a situation best served by Audiobus - although with the condition that the Amplitude tone is "printed" to the Auria track. It would be less like using a VST and more like using an external pedal. Kinda depends on if you are (at least close to) happy with sound you have per arm...
