Re: Stereo Input Only Working on One Side

Only create a mono track if you are recording using just one input on your interface. You will still here your guitar coming out the Left and Right channels. You can still process your guitar using stereo effects to then in turn create a stereo spatial sound from a mono track. You are getting noise ...

Re: Stereo Input Only Working on One Side

Hi biggerbrew , What version of iOS is your iPad running? Are you using the latest build of Auria? Is your interface running the lastest version of its firmware available? When Auria appears to "turn off one side of the output", are you monitoring live signal coming in or playing back recorded audio...

Re: Iconnect audio4

The team at iConnectivity has been testing the new interface with Auria and claims full compatibility. We should be receiving one in the next few weeks so we can test it personally in house. After talking to a few of their test engineers it sounds like there should be no issues with compatibility on...

Re: Soundcraft Signature

I just got word from Soundcraft this morning that I should have a board for testing in the beginning of July. They are modifying some of the PCB's for the next round of production and hope to have the board fully iOS compatible by the end of the summer. I'll post my findings as soon as I get the boa...

Re: can a mixing console be used with auria

That is entirely up to your preference of mixing. If you decide to just stick with the 18i20 and mixing in the box with Auria, you may want to check out some compatible fader packs if you like having physical buttons and knobs. Other options may be trying to find an iOS compatible mixer with a USB c...

Re: can a mixing console be used with auria

Typically when you use a mixing board in a studio or live situation in conjunction with an audio interface, you run all of your inputs into the mixing board and then run a snake out of all the channel direct outputs and go into the audio interface. This allows you to still retain independent channel...

Re: Moving tracks to another project

And as a note, if you are going to export/import as Stems, make sure you have no effects on your original audio tracks as that will get printed to the .Wav files

Re: Moving tracks to another project

There are a few ways you can approach this- One way is to create a new project (Menu> New Project) for each song, import your desired tracks (from the original recording session) that contain the audio you want for that project (Menu> Import Audio), and delete the excess audio off of the track so yo...

Re: Midas venice U series mixing desk - will it work?

The U series Venice boards are indeed class compliant and whether you choose the 16, 24, or 32 channel version they all are only 8x8 interfaces. We haven't tested one in house yet and Midas says nothing explicitly about supporting iOS, so it may not end up working. I will try to get my hands on one ...

Re: Soundcraft Signature

Loudpipes, I just heard back from the project manager at Soundcraft about the Soundcraft Signature Series boards. He said the boards are indeed USB class compliant and the MTK (multi-track) versions should be able to send all i/o and use USB return with iOS and Auria. However, they have run into an ...

Re: Running Multiple Slots from Thumbjam into Auria

rickwaugh,
Fitz is correct in his setup rundown to record into 4 separate tracks into Auria at once from ThumbJam. You won't see the IAA transport unless you are using the ThumbJam stereo output plug-in in IAA (the one that says nothing about slots)

Re: Running Multiple Slots from Thumbjam into Auria

Hello, If you are using ThumbJam through AudioBus, go into the Input Matrix of Auria (Menu > Input Matrix) and on the far right of the Input Matrix window, change the routing from 'Normal' to 'AudioBus' and then route thumbjam to your desired tracks. If you want to use IAA, first close all of your a...

Re: Iconnect audio4

Hi Brockwitzer,
We will be receiving an iConnectAudio4+ closer to its release date for testing and compatibility. After we get it in house and test it we will be sure to add it to the compatible interface list.

Re: Blue snowball ice... Something I'm missing?

Hi Dr.,
Create a new session in Auria and make sure the Sample Rate is set to 44100. See if that happens to turn the "INT" to "USB". Let me know,

Thanks,
Corey
