Re: Leef iAccess

Yes I have one. I keep all my projects on a 16gb micro sd card ( haven't got many). Works well just a bit slower than I would prefer. Save project to another app zips the project and transfers to the leaf. Similarly open in works just choose Auria and the project transfers back and the zip file ope...

Leef iAccess

Anyone tried one of these? Lightning port access to a micro sd. Price is good. I'm wondering if the zip to external export will work with one.

Re: Adding Reverb

Other thing to do, which works pretty well, is to split the channel in two, and put effects such as verb on one. Send the output from the original channel to two busses. Leave the original channel clean. (Can also do compression, gating here, too.) Create two new channels. Input one from the first b...

Aux question

You can now use an aux as a bus. So I can send from a channel to an aux, then take the output from that aux back on another channel. However, I'm a bit confused. I know I can now set the input on any channel to accept the output from the aux - by default I believe the aux output goes to either the m...

Re: Spectrum analyzers

I ended up picking up MC Analyzer, which works with IAA and Audiobus. Lots more options that Fabfilter-Q2, seems like a nice fit. Now I just have to figure out how to use it properly.

Spectrum analyzers

Anyone using any of those available, outside of the ones built in to fabfilter plugins? Not sure Amy out them work with audiobus or has, or au.

Re: Bluetooth

I didn't even know you could do that, and am at a loss to understand why you would? Unless it gives you the ability to have two people working a the same time?

Re: Problem with the gain function.

Just click on the control area on the left, anything except a button. You'll see that area get a blue highlite ring around it.

Re: Corrupted Dropbox projects

Thanks, Rim. Yes, I think that's what I'm going to do tonight, use iFunbox to put them back into Auria itself.

Corrupted Dropbox projects

I managed to delete all my projects in Dropbox, then compounded my error by restoring them from a backup, rather than dropbox's restore. All the files are there, but when I try to load them in auria, it starts on the first file and immediately stops with no error. Rim, anyone, ideas?

Re: Buying a new iPad, recommendations.

I was using an air 2, and no problems. The bigger pro has extra memory, which would be great. I just bought a refurb pro 9.7 inch, because I like the smaller size. I get a work allowance for devices, and I was able to give the air 2 to my wife. I got a slightly newer machine, and I got it with 128 g...

Problems Bouncing Audio Tracks

Recording a guitar track, doing overdubs. Twice while bouncing to consolidate the track, I lost audio, or ended up having things moved, I was able to undo, and get things back, though I had to rearrange some of my overdubs, as they were no longer in the right spot. It also seemed to boost the gain e...
