Re: Hiss, Hum, Bad Earth And 120 V's 240V!

You could try a smart EQ/noise filter that will "learn" the problematic buzz frequency and then you could incrementally cut that frequency in the really problematic tracks. But you're right fixing it in post is always going to be less than optimal. As for your bad earth issue, have you tired ground ...

Re: Recorded tracks being played back thru FX/IAA plugs

When I record guitar using Jam up pro, Bias or Amplitube thru IAA it always records the amp and pedal effects, wether I record effects or not, and then the playback with play thru the amp again, thus having the amp sound applied twice until I bypass or remove the IAA instance of the amp. Maybe beca...

Recorded tracks being played back thru FX/IAA plugs

After/whilst racking a guitar part using Bias as IAA, on playback the guitar audio is getting routed thru the Bias plug again and obviously sounds completely wrong . Is there something I'm not doing to have my takes play back normally without being routed thru the effects plugin channel?

Cheers,

Re: Controller recommendation please

Apologies to the OP. I forgot we were talking Auria specific. My response was in regards general PC/desktop DAW controllers. To the best of my knowledge Auria will need full midi implementation to support these controllers

Re: Controller recommendation please

I have an older M-Audio Axiom 61 which did a good job but love my newer Novation Impule61. It does what is says on the tin and does it well. I also got my son an Impulse 49 which is just as cool , just smaller obviously.

Re: Hello from California

Greetings from Sydney Australia! I recorded a full night's set of solo covers last friday, 4 hours all up. I just paused Auria when I took a break and pressed play when I started the next set. Ran perfectly with not a single glitch. A truly awesome development for the working/recording musician. Jus...

Fair enough & apologies for my intemperate remarks. I just bristle at the thought of someone like Apple dictating musical criteria.

Re: Dark acoustic

Loved it . But then again that's my kind if music. The production was good, vox were great. Loved the subtle underpinning of low bass and occasional thumps in the night. Personally I think the song may benefit from a bit more chordal development or tonal change at some point to keep the listener's i...
