Re: focusrite scarlet 2i2 problems

I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 with Auria on an iPad 4 with good results. This combo worked fine on an iPad 2 as well. Although the 8i6 has its own power supply and, thus, does not require a powered USB hub, there are times when I want to connect a (non-AC-powered) USB keyboard to play a synth a...

Yes, I agree that genuine Apple products must be used. I learned this early on (cheaply, fortunately) when I purchased a short USB [female] to 30-pin [male] cable for a few buck$ on ebay. I am not required to use a powered USB hub (unless I wish to connect a USB MIDI keyboard along with the 8i6). My setup has been working fine either way. I will soon be taking delivery of an iPad 4. Should ...

Re: pan/aux on subgroup

I should add that I tried setting the Subgroup to MONO and Output 2 (only). The F/X were heard in both the left (1) and right (2) channels. I believe INT was disabled as well...I will confirm this tonight (hopeful that I forgot to disable INT, thereby making this the missing puzzle piece :D ). Mike ...
