Re: A good drum looper/machine for Auria?

There's a check box when you import tracks or loops to change the current bpm to match the loop. DM1 is a very nice drum machine with a large number of sampled kits to choose from and you can add your own samples. It is not the best for rock or metal, but with an "in app purchase" of Drumagog you ca...

Re: Newbie Need Words of Encouragement.

Auria has a "convolution" reverb. Everyone else has a "convulsion" reverb.

Get it? oh what a knee slapper.

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"

A small wish/suggestion, of no real significance: In the store when you look at the long list of plug-ins there's no way to tell which ones you've purchased, and you have to tap on each one to see whether it's installed or not. Maybe you could add the "installed" indicator to the long list as well?...

Re: Auria introduces Inter-app Audio support!

It's very useful for playing instrument apps into Auria, since you'd usually be playing one instance at a time. And for effects, you can have as many effect interapps in your project as you like (memory permitted), but they only allow one instance of each at a time. I would expect this standard to ...

Supposedly yes.
I haven't tried it yet. Haven't had a large enough project to test on iPad2.

Re: Newbie Need Words of Encouragement.

The learning curve for Auria is actually very straightforward. Especially if you already know a DAW like GarageBand.
Auria works well with GB too if you want to transfer tracks to Auria for processing etc.

Re: Auria introduces Inter-app Audio support!

Sounds mostly useless to me.
With exception of a few rare occasions when you only need 1 instance of an effect.

Since they held it back on the last OS, I assume they consider this to be "it" as far as developing or adding new features.
It would be nice if they did continue to add to its feature set.

On a related note, Apple is going to allow updating to devices of older iOS's, so you will be able to download compatible previous versions of apps for your old iPad 1st gen etc.

Re: Apogee Gear Video check this Out using Auria

For vocals? Interesting.

I must admit that the built in mic in the iPhone5 is quite good. When placed properly you can get some great acoustic guitar tones. Proximity is the key, as the farther you get from the source, the signal quickly loses bottom end.

Re: First time impression.

I have switched to using the "rotary" motion on knobs, but have a unique technique when using them. I start by touch-holding the knob in the center and drag my finger straight away from the knob so I'm not even near it. This way I can clearly see it and as long as I don't lift my finger, changing va...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS

What is the name for auria tool that has same function as garageband "song section" so i can duplicate or add "section" as i want, in auria. Auria does not have the "section" function you speak of, but it is very easy to select an entire section and manipulate it and move it as a group. Instruction...
