maN Œuvre album finished in Auria

https://man0euvre.bandcamp.com/album/anon-kumkleen 15 tracks written on the iPad, using the usual suspects...Tera, I SEM, iMini, Nave, Thor, Samplr, Funkbox, Auria, Fabfilter Pro L, MB, Q & C. Possibly one more track to be added. I'm interested if anyone can report on the song flow as well as volume...

Re: iPad Air 2 crashing. CPU only at 70%

Thanks for the quick solution Rim. Did you let Apple know about the issue? Did you see what Tim 'Discchord' Webb said over on the iPad Musician page on Facebook a while back: That there was a serious iOS music issue that he could not talk about. Due to Apple policies etc. Basically that music in iOS...

Re: iPad Air 2 crashing. CPU only at 70%

Right Mtingle  That was exactly the feeling I was getting. In fact, a track that played fine up to 95% CPU on my iPad Air, is now crashing at the reported 60-70% on my iPad Air 2. That new screen looks costly...

Re: iPad Air 2 crashing. CPU only at 70%

My apologies...Yes, clicking OK works, without my Apogee, and I can resume playback. But not always when my sound card is connected? I have to restart Auria... The app is locking up at a much lower CPU percentage on my iPad Air 2, (same track), than my iPad Air :!: Whilst I've got you here, will the...

Re: iPad Air 2 crashing. CPU only at 70%

Hey Rim...Thanks for the quick reply! When I say crashing, what I mean is a locked app situation: I get the message about CPU overload, or similar in the centre of the screen. At that point it is not possible to resume playback. Everything is locked up. The only way to regain control is to exit, qui...

SOLVED - iPad Air 2 CPU warning with CPU at only 70%

Edit: This issue is now solved in iOS 8.3 Quite frustrating to have Auria lock up/crash with the CPU around 70 to 90%. I wish I didn't have to restart the app each time the CPU spiked! What is strange is that, although I am set to 64 bit mixer, one Pro MB with 2 x Oversampling. A couple more plugs, ...

Re: ETA on MIDI integration?

We all look forward to the update. No need for anyone to be too upset either way. I now have the 'fun' of learning to use Cubasis for my midi needs. Till that 'magic day' arrives... :D Anyhow, I think I might need to update my iPad when that happens. I can already max out my iPad Air, with Fabfilter...

Re: ETA on MIDI integration?

@theconnatic ..In fact, for now, I simply wanted a midi real time recorder for AB. But, could only find step sequencers. Although I hear on iPadMusician, on FB, that one is coming soon. I caved in and bought Cubasis. I hope any audio recording I do in there will be solid, before I transfer into Auri...

Re: ETA on MIDI integration?

Okay. Thanks for the prompt reply Rim. I guess, temporarily, I'll have to overcome my prejudice towards Steinberg :D Best of luck with what must be a mammoth undertaking!

Album mastered in Auria. Pure iOS!

Album entitled MoN Œuvre. Released through Apptronica. Mastered entirely within Auria. Using Fabfilter Pro C,Q & L. Happy with the experimentation and imperfections, generally. I wish that I'd had my Beyerdynamic T90s though. The 990 Pros I used, are not quite as accurate, at the top and bottom end,...

Re: ETA on MIDI integration?

Rim...? I know they say buy Cubasis for now, it's good etc. But, just tell me the midi update is on its way, and I'll think twice about it. Such a fan of Auria, its sound quality and more 8)

Re: ETA on MIDI integration?

Hey. I can't believe midi isn't here yet. Not wanting to pressure anybody though. But, what with the Cubasis and Gadget updates arriving...I want to stay in house, in Auria. But, I'm in need of midi sequencing! Any latest ETA? Have I missed any news? Help

Mastered in Auria

When I say mastered, I mean to the best of my ability, then! Using BeyerDynamic 990Pros. Fabfilter Pro Q, C, L & FX Bus Comp! A lesson in mastering really. I have since slightly improved my techniques. One main limitation is the source sound quality. Much work is done in Samplr. Which is excellent. ...

Re: Fxpansion DCAM BusComp Presets?

Yep, it just adds a high pass filter to the side chain sensor so the compressor doesn't react as much to low frequency transients. Yes, that's what I thought. But, I find it is also affecting the sound when there is no side chain processing enabled. It would appear that it follows the frequency of ...
