Re: 1.03 update issue resolved.

mtingle, here's a short video of how the new non-snapping region move works for me: I simply tap and hold on a region for more than a few seconds without moving, then I proceed to move. I don't have any snap. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy4ureuJSjc Rim I made a little vid showing what I'm doing ...

Re: 1.03 update issue resolved.

@vezinho all I do is copy the files directly to where all the other files of that type are. and no I don't zip them. just copy them from the auria folder or sub-folder over to the computer. Just make sure you put them back in the same place as where you got them mimicking the folder structure. It's ...

Re: 1.03 update issue resolved.

iOS 6 requires the latest itunes and mac operating software 10.6.8 or later so anyone running mac os under this cannot connect to thier itunes to back-up Auria. Just thought I would let users know this could happen and the Mac App Store wont let you download Lion for $20 unless you have 10.6.8 or l...

Re: 1.03 update issue resolved.

mtingle: Yes, this fix did make it into 1.03. To get it to work, it's important to keep your finger very still during those few seconds. I recommend trying longer than two seconds, as the timing could vary slightly, depending on how many regions are displayed, etc. Also, keep in mind, there's still...

Re: 1.03 update issue resolved.

Thats good news Rim, well done. Out of interest, I couldn't get the: "there's a default "snap" that prevents fine tuning of the movement at the initial move. (added a 2 second timeout - just hold the region for at least two seconds to disable this snap behavior)" to work. I pressed the region for we...

yes it one of the advantages of the closed ios eco system, if it works for one it works for all. at least thats the way apple have designed it.

Re: Updating!!!!

tried: 1. turning off ipad, waiting 20 secs. didn't work 2. deleting all projects from itunes. didn't work had to delete app and re-down load. seems to work now :) I wonder if a recovery mode could be built in to Auria where if you hold down a certain key during startup it will boot in a default mod...

Re: am i really the only one?? (sluggish edit window)

to be able to zoom horizontally and vertically at the same time would be rather useful. not sure if its possible though.

Looking forward to some of those bug fixes

Re: am i really the only one?? (sluggish edit window)

Blah, zooming obviously included scrolling (?!) ;-) And yes, this is a *really* easy workaround, and it would be similarly easy to simply detect the framerate during drawing, and if it's lower than, say, 10 fps, turn off waveform drawing and only show placeholders. or perhaps only draw full sample ...

Re: Overloud and all things guitar.

I have the Overloud THM plugin and use with the Apogee jam interface.I am really surprized at how good these sounds are especially the clean processed chorus, reverbs etc..and on my ipad 3 can't really detect any latency. How about some bass guitar settings and a chromatic tuner .....? good requests...

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?

I've not done any precise testing regarding battery life but 2 new alkaline batteries would suffice a recording session running 2 mics using phantom power. Also, if the mics can make do with 12 volts and not 48volts the MixPre-D can change to 12v phantom power if necessary. It's possible to power th...
