Re: am i really the only one?? (sluggish edit window)

to be able to zoom horizontally and vertically at the same time would be rather useful. not sure if its possible though.

Looking forward to some of those bug fixes

Re: am i really the only one?? (sluggish edit window)

Blah, zooming obviously included scrolling (?!) ;-) And yes, this is a *really* easy workaround, and it would be similarly easy to simply detect the framerate during drawing, and if it's lower than, say, 10 fps, turn off waveform drawing and only show placeholders. or perhaps only draw full sample ...

Re: Overloud and all things guitar.

I have the Overloud THM plugin and use with the Apogee jam interface.I am really surprized at how good these sounds are especially the clean processed chorus, reverbs etc..and on my ipad 3 can't really detect any latency. How about some bass guitar settings and a chromatic tuner .....? good requests...

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?

I've not done any precise testing regarding battery life but 2 new alkaline batteries would suffice a recording session running 2 mics using phantom power. Also, if the mics can make do with 12 volts and not 48volts the MixPre-D can change to 12v phantom power if necessary. It's possible to power th...

Considering a self-powered audio interface?

With no need for a powered usb hub and very high quality pre-amps and construction that works with ipad & auria I can heartily recommend sound devices Mixpre-D. I would say it's the ultimate addition to the ipad/ auria setup for the very highest quality recordings in a truly mobile setup. Had mine f...

Re: Is there a way to monitor mid side?

If you have an idea for improving the routing in Auria to make this easier, please let me know. I've come across a few things I'd like to do in Auria that would require some additional routing functions. -choose whether to apply the aux send pre or post fx -route tracks to multiple buses simultaneo...

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread

Has anyone tried the MOTU pre4 with an ipad? The spec says it ships with standard core audio drivers (which it doesn't need if its core audio which is strange).

Re: Time signature bug

As far as I'm aware this bug was introduced in v.1.02 when the 5/4 time sig was added. Nothing has changed at my end since originally reporting this. From your comments Rim I thought you'd solved this one though we've not been able to download the patch yet.

Rim wrote:What bug are you noticing? I've tested the original bug as described above, and it's not here in 1.02. For example, I go to the settings page, choose 3/8. It stays on 3/8. Can you describe what's happening in your case?

Thanks,
Rim
try selecting 6/8 in 1.02 then you'll see the bug.

Re: Next update

OK, thanks. It seems that this is an unrelated bug. I'll add this one as a new bug. Not sure if it'll make it into 1.03. It sounds like this one might take some time to hunt down and fix. I will try, though! Thanks, Rim This is the same bug that I was talking about in the initial play head sync bug...

Re: iGOG PLEEEASE

all the above + audio copy between apps. this is potentially more useful than dropbox as it doesn't require a wi-fi connection.

+ an ipad version of this app would really shine, but I know this would be a large amount of work. but people would pay..
