Re: Clearing space for new projects
Yes AuriaPro takes about that much flash drive space if you have IR files,Gog files, Lyra samples, Fabfilter plugins ect. IAA plugins are not part of AuriaPros size and remain as seperate. Places to look to free up flash drive space is movies in your photos, samples in other apps, trash of audioshar...

Re: 24bit vs 16bit: Mixing Drums
For loops I use MoRevox Collection from the Auria Plugin Store, Snare and kick replacements from Auria Drumagog , DrumPerfect for sequenced drums that I load my own samples, I like Funk Drummer for Cymbls, I like DrumLoops HD for standard real drum loops but its limited but mostly now I record my ow...

Re: 24bit vs 16bit: Mixing Drums
Compressors react to level not bit depth even though its in the digital format. Once a file has been established as useable within the daw, the daw will load that file and all the features of the daw will be available to be applied to that file. Eq adjusts frequency not bit depth again because of th...

Re: Quantize failed after bouncing track on place
After a track is bounced in place there is no longer FX as they have been included in the bounce of the midi track turning it into an audio track,so the fact that the FX light is off on the track after a bounce in place means nothing. Mixing down the track and importing back into the project is the ...

Re: importing drum loops, soft drummer into Auria pro?
Load Soft Drummer into a stereo track ( audio track ) as an IAA plugin. When you load Soft Drummer the track record ready light should start to blink, now hit record on the main transport and play and the track will begin to record the drums. Remember to lower the main mix volume of Soft Drummer bef...

Re: Quantize failed after bouncing track on place
If you have any fx on this kick drum the resulting bounce in place has allowed for the pre-delay or attack of the kick. Also best to set your snap value to whatever you quantized the midi to. And last but not least use the mixdown option instead of bounce in place as bounce in place is destructive a...

Re: Let's try to get more plug-in manufacturers onboard!
Just my perspective on this. Since we Have Audio Units already in iOS all the future plugins for iOS Daws will be released in this format and not for just one platform or iOS Daw. I think it's clear that after all these years that Auria has been out ( since 2012 ), we have not seen any more plugin d...

Re: Animoog Forgetting Presets
Animoog opens with the Default setting not the last settings you left it with unless you save the setting to be reloaded or you will lose it upon leaving the app. Model 15 likely opens where you last left it. It is possible that Model 15 sends Bank and Patch numbers when recording into a midi track ...

Re: Any way to make the rewind go faster?
There are several ways to go to where you want to go in the timeline. 1. Double tap the stop button or the rewind button to return to zero avoiding rewinding. 2. Go to your editor window and grab the timeline indicater arrow and drag the arrow to where you want to start from. 3. Add marker to where ...

Re: Auria pro with Yamaha DX7II. Midi isn't using DX7 sounds.
You need to send the midi track that you recorded into AuriaPro to the midi interface that you have your Yamaha DX7 ll pluged into. You also need to make sure that the DX7ll is receiving midi on all channels ( omni mode ). You can also send the midi on a specific midi channel as long as both the sen...

Re: AU R/W Automation?
Direct touch is when you have the R&W lights on of the plugin and while the transport is in play mode, any movement or adjustments you make to the plugin will be recorded as automation in real time and will be visible in the automation lanes in the track editor window. This is not possible with AU p...

Re: AU R/W Automation?
You can automate any AU parameter inside the editor lanes. The same way you manually add automation to all of AuriaPros plugins. Unfortunately currently direct touch will not record AU automation but manual input works fine. Cheers

Re: Fading MIDI?
Thanks for your response, Anthony! That's what I originally tried, just using the track automation by grabbing the corner handle, and it displayed the fade so I thought it would work. However as I played it back, I couldnt hear any fading. I tried it with multiple tracks to no avail. Eventually I j...

Re: Fading MIDI?
If your talking about fading a midi track then you just use the track automation no special midi message needed. If your fading inividual midi notes than you use the midi editing screen to draw in you midi velocity. Tap beside the pencil to access the midi drop down menu. If you still have midi IAA ...
