Re: Automation

The best way to enter small timing for values like 1/8,1/16 note, just set your snap value to those beats like 1/16 and zoom into the track until you see the grid lines that represent that value. Also you should be vertically zoomed so that you are looking at only the track your automating. I can’t ...

Re: Fugue machine: receiving input from wrong channels - why?

Fuge machine is not AU3 but it is IAA compatible. More info is needed to understand your issue. Are you using FM as an IAA? Did you plug it into an audio track or a midi track? Are you using it as Core Midi, ie. running in the background? If you want to solve this rightaway then use Audiobus to acmp...

Re: Copy track and other questions

First of all I want to thank all of you who have helped this newbie coming from Pro Tools over the last few months. It has been awesome! Sometimes I feel kind of stupid for asking simple questions about Auria which I can’t seem to figure out. And I do have some seemingly simple questions: 1) How ca...

Re: Reversing Polarity

No problem. I use the polarity switch all the time and there really is no right or wrong polarity it is only what sounds good in the mix. Many mix engineers switch polarity just to achieve a different sound. If two tracks are conflicting like say overhead mic's than you will hear a phase shifting so...

Re: Reversing Polarity

My guess is that you are zooming in to a waveform and then taping the phase reverse switch found beside the channel strip fader and your not seing the waveform peak switch polarity. The reason you don’t see this is because this reverse phase is applied at the mixer channel output and not from the wa...

Re: Screen Redraw problem

This is a video of how I can recreate the blank screen bug. Let me know if anyone else can do it and hope this helps Rim. Cheers and good luck. Here is the link to the private video. This video has been removed as the bug is squashed. The video was posted on YouTube as a private video and was for fo...

Re: FABFILTER TWIN

Twin2 is a midi synth and will only load nto a midi track it is not an audio plugin nor is it an AU3 or Inter App audio. So you can only use it in a midi track. It’s midi data is all controlled by the midi track that it is inserted into. Cheers.

Re: Split all, splitting several tracks crash

Yes this is an occassional bug. It is usually caused by an extended time spent editing. This includes using the Gain function, Split all,Timestretch, warp, fades and there may even be a few more. Basically it could be any combination of these functions and its why it is a hard one to track down. I’ve ...

Re: ROUTING MIDI AUDIO

Glad you got it working. Yes AuriaPro now records all the midi notes of a drum machine if that app is set to send it’s midi out and AuriaPro is set to receive notes from that app in the midi settings. So turn off the receive notes in AuriaPros midi under SETTINGS for any app you don’t want to have A...

Re: Sub groups overkill

I’m sure you don’t think you can write this big of a beef without some feedback. First most AuriaPro users are not couch producers no more than a laptop user and even then if your a serious music producer you will have a dedicated room with acoustics, an audio interface, a set of monitors ect. You s...

Re: ROUTING MIDI AUDIO

You will need a Midi and Audio track to do this. First DON’T insert Animoog into the midi track, instead insert Animoog into the Audio track. Now in the midi track tap FX and select instrument to OFF , Midi input to ALL, midi channel to ALL and here’s the trick, set midi Output to COREMIDI Animoog (...

Re: Mixer keeps disappearing after bouncing track

I just tested this Rich and No blank screen for me. I usually get it if I have been splitting regions, using the join function, a little region timeline adustments and using the gain function. Not nessisarily in that order but mostly after I’ve been in the edit screen for quite a while. But the Boun...

Re: Real-Time Recording of Drum Perfect with IAA

Yes you can do all of that. Here is a link to a video that explains this very topic. Its not my video but it does cover this way of using Drumperfect in AuriaPro. You will need to watch the video till the end as that is when this process is shown. Cheers and good luck.

Re: Exporting to Audio Mastering software

Yes Audio Share is the best solution for what you want to do. I use it everyday to transfer files but it also does much more. Its easy to use and you can mix down directly from Auria to Audioshare in the mix down window. Once its in Audio Share you just tap the share button and you can open the file...
