Re: Crash every time I export AAF to DropBox

If you are on iOS11, you can use the Files app to move any file from Auria to somewhere else, including Dropbox.

Re: ipad pro interface not optmized

That's pretty concerning. If Auria's crashing for you this often, something is seriously wrong. Can you tell me if the crashing happens only when you use a particular plugin? I can record here all day long when testing on my iPad Pro and don't have any crashes, so anything you can tell me to help du...

Re: Crash every time I export AAF to DropBox

This is a bug related to the new Dropbox SDK I added in 2.14. I've already fixed it for 2.15, which should be in beta soon.

Re: v2.14 now available

I found all my older iPads today and none of them have iOS8 (iOS9 is the earliest I have). Apparently there's no way to install iOS8 any more, as Apple locks down earlier versions now. So I bought an iPad on eBay that has iOS8. As soon as that arrives, I'll be able to tell what's going on. It should...

Re: v2.14 now available

First of all, I still have no idea at all if this is caused by Dropbox. It's only a guess on my part, as that's the only SDK I updated in 2.14. The only way for me to be sure is to install iOS8 on an old iPad and test it myself. Please wait for me to do this.

Re: v2.14 now available

I'll be able to verify this tomorrow when I can get my older iPad in here for testing. But if it's related to Dropbox, there's absolutely nothing to be done. There's no way to disable the SDK once it's in Auria. Dropbox is either part of Auria or it's not. They dictate what minimum versions they sup...

Re: Consistency of manipulating regions

A video would be very helpful. I have not heard of any issues like you describe, so seeing exactly what you're doing will help.

The type of audio file does not matter. Once it's imported, it's the same as any other audio file.

Re: v2.14 now available

I can think of a couple of things: 1. Try scrolling down on your Update list. It looks like there's more to see below what's showing (maybe you already tried that). 2. Apple sometimes takes a day or so to propagate all the updates across the world. If it's not there yet in your region, maybe wait un...

Re: Consistency of manipulating regions

OK, thanks for clarifying. For audio regions, if you want to change the length, there are a few things to keep in mind: 1. The length handle is in the lower right corner. It must be visible in order to use it. 2. A region can only be shortened. It can't be made longer than it was originally. 3. If y...

Re: Consistency of manipulating regions

@karuzo, are you using a project with a large number of tracks?

Also, are you seeing this issue in the normal editor, or in the piano roll editor? Are they audio or MIDI tracks?

Re: MIDI merge

Looks like this is a bug that crept up in 2.14 when I fixed the MIDI join function (overdub uses the join function internally). I'll get this fixed for 2.15. Sorry about that.

Re: add new samples to drumagog?

You can add GOG files to the Auria version of Drumagog, but those GOGs must have already been created elsewhere (either in a desktop version of Drumagog, or a third-party Drumagog library).

Re: Consistency of manipulating regions

Some editing can only be done if the region is at least a certain size. This is done to prevent accidentally moving or changing region sizes when multiple regions are in view. To change the size of a region, you need to use the handles, and the handles will only appear when the zoom level is large e...

Re: v2.14 now available

Ah, that's probably it. I don't think the new Dropbox SDK works in iOS8, and since I was forced to update their SDK in this version, the entire Auria app needs at least iOS9 as well. I will double check on this. All my test devices are at least iOS9, but I may be able to install iOS8 on an older dev...

Re: add new samples to drumagog?

The desktop version of Drumagog does let you build your own GOG files out of individual WAV or AIF files. Once you have a GOG file made you can use it in the Auria version of Drumagog, but the Auria version doesn't let you create GOG files.
