The SessionBand series of apps is also very useful for what you’re looking to do.
I just picked up SessionBand also, Jazz Bundle. I really like the sounds. Any idea if there are any forums with a complete Real Book for jazz standards that can be imported like the iReal pro community has done?

Re: Background music created from an app?

I use iReal Pro for my jazz charts mostly, but it has a variety of styles. It allows you to control volume levels between instruments, export as a few audio file types, and create basically any chord progression you would like. You can also change keys easily. Might be worth looking into.

Re: MIDI "Dissolve Part" function or workaround?

I’ve also been searching for an efficient way to do this for my midi drum tracks created in Auria. The only solution I’ve come up with is to select each pitch from the piano roll, copy, create a new midi track, and paste to the new track. It works, but it’s cumbersome. If you have any luck with midi...

Re: Is Auria 2.18 working for everyone?

Looks like I have the issue as well then not being able to update to 2.18. However, I’m ot having any issues with L2 or others. Auria Pro, iPad Pro 10.5, iOS 11.3.1

Re: Using midiflow to manipulate Drum midi in Auria Pro

Turns out standard midi cannot currently be imported into drum session using file sharing only drumsession files.

Re: Auria snapshots fail to load

Yeah, this could be a bug or possibly a corrupt project. Rim would have to confirm that. In my experience auria has been surprisingly reliable, of course not perfect. I rarely have to use snapshots. I’ve never used snapshots other than to restore the very occasional issue with a project and it’s wor...

Re: Auria snapshots fail to load

Just read your other thread. This sounds like the same issue. I might be misunderstanding, but I do think using ‘save copy of project’ as I mentioned earlier is what you are looking for. That functions similar to a ‘save as’ which is what I think you were trying to accomplish by renaming the project...

Re: Auria snapshots fail to load

This does sound strange that the snapshots aren’t always working. Possibly something corrupt in the project? Some more detail about how you are using snapshots would be helpful. It sounds to me like you want multiple copies of the same project with a few changes eg channel names? If so, an alternati...

Re: Using midiflow to manipulate Drum midi in Auria Pro

Well, I’ve figured out a way to accomplish most of what I needed with drum session. If anyone is curious, I was able to use the piano roll in drum session. I edited the drum sounds and midi assigned to match the original midi file, in my case ez drummer. Now I can import my ez drummer midi into Auri...

Using midiflow to manipulate Drum midi in Auria Pro

Not sure if this is possible or if there is a better way of doing this. I have a bunch of midi drum loops that I would like to use in Auria using drum session as inter-app audio for midi drum sounds. Some drum sounds from the midi loops are mapped differently than drum session’s midi. Instead of edi...

Re: Is Auria 2.18 working for everyone?

So the weird thing is AP says 2.17 in the settings screen, and the iTunes Store is not offering 2.18. Same here. Auria Pro with Pro L2, all working fine but still version number 2.17. App Store not offering 2.18. I could be mistaken, but I believe if you originally purchased Auria Pro, then 2.17 is...

Re: Mixdown/CPU Frustrations

Sorry to revive an old thread, but this is still an issue at least I keep running into with crudebyte apps in Auria. Mainly midi mix down to audio. Has there been any progress getting this resolved or any plans to? Is sending the midi to a bus and recording in real time inside Auria still the best w...

Re: Final touch or audio mastering app?

I’m sure there are YouTube videos that talk about using fabfilter plugins for mastering. Though not necessarily specific to mastering, I’ve found the official fabfilter videos useful. Maybe someone else has specific video links they could offer. Using something like final touch could be a great way ...
