Hi again,
i ran into the Novation Impulse and in a review it says "Impulse is HUI-compatible (but not Mackie Control-compatible)".
Will this be a problem to control the mixer?
Also is Automap a problem?

Re: All those protocols and controllers...
Thanks Corey,
i was considering the Novation on my list.
I also came up with the Samson Graphite, the M-audio CTRL or Code, the Icon Inspire 5G2 or the Arturia Keylab essential.
Edit: The Icon is not IOS compatible according to their site.

Re: All those protocols and controllers...
Rim, thanks for the answer.
I see there is a list of compatible audio interfaces on the site, is there a similar list with keyboards that have Mackie/HUI?
Or any one here that have a good suggestion for such a keyboard?

Controlling the mixer would be nice but, as i understanding correctly, the keyboard needs the HUI protocol. Can i just bu...

Re: Newbie question regarding mixing
Thanks,
i think the problem with dj apps is that you can mix only 2-4 songs and can't edit anything, it's more for live djing in my opinion.

Newbie question regarding mixing
Hello all, newbie here with a question: I would like to make/record a megamix from existing songs from my iTunes library. So no beat making itself with samples but just a linear timeline with, let's say, 25 popsongs where i can fine tune the transistions and have the option to time stretch. Is this ...
