Re: Auria crashes while drawing Mute automation, loses data
I was able to reproduce this by 1) creating a new project with 16 audio tracks 2) recording some audio (not sure this is a requirement) 3) invoking 'Mute' from the dropdown on a single track 4) hand-editing the mute on/off tracing numerous times (finger or Apple pencil) - long press to create an edi...

Auria crashes while drawing Mute automation, loses data
Hi, I'm using Auria Pro v2.10 on iPad Pro 12.9 " iOS 10.3.1 I am experiencing Auria crashes when drawing Mute automation. Specifically when attempting to create or move an edit point with long press. Not every time but often enough to suggest a bug is at work. Happens both with finger-drawn or ...

Re: Transient signal loss on multitrack record
Thanks Rim I think you are right. It turns out the USBstreamer-b (a USB-powered conversion box for ADAT/TOSLINK <-> USB) is factory-configured as master clock source, and there is no way to change this setting via software on an iPad. So I will need to wire up a BNC connector on this box so I can se...

Re: IPAD2 to Xair X18 cable
Another option to power the iPad while connected to the X18 would be the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, which has both a USB3 and a Lightning port available when plugged into the iPad. No hub is needed, just connect the Lightning port to any USB power adaptor, and the USB3 port to the X18.

Re: Transient signal loss on multitrack record
Sorry I was using 'transient' as an adjective to describe loss of signal for a few samples. All tracks are flatlined to 0V after a brief stutter (in the area circled) resulting in an audible click. As far as I can tell it's only happening occasionally over 30 or 40 minutes of tracking, but I'd like ...

Transient signal loss on multitrack record
I see a few cases of transient data loss across all channels on record (see attachment) - would this be a problem upstream of Auria or possibly some buffer-related problem in the CPU? I'm using 128 buffer size on 8 channels at 44.1 kHz, Audient ASP880 (ADAT out) -> USBstreamer -> iPad Pro 12.9 inch....

Re: What is the best multichannel interface for Auria?
I can concur with mididrum that the Behri X18-air is pretty close to the ideal interface for 16 track recording to an iPad/Auria setup. At least this is my early assessment, based on recent experimentation. The more so if you are tracking a live performance which I'm planning to do soon. Configure t...
