Re: Drum apps that record into separate channels?
There's an update to Drum Session on the way that will include MIDI and audio stem exporting.

Re: Drum apps that record into separate channels?
That's awesome, I'd no idea you could do that! Thanks. Midiflow does that. It's a routing app. If for instance I had 4 different drums coming in on one channel, each drum is a different note. I set up four different routes in midiflow, each one looking for a particular note, and route that out to a ...

Re: Drum apps that record into separate channels?
How are you sending the MIDI notes on the same channel out to their own outputs? Thanks.

Agreed, learning to trust your instinct and commit to a sound is a skill in of itself.

Re: MIDI merge
Yeah, I read (Rim is the creator, right?) that loop-recording would require a major rewrite of the playback engine, approximately six months worth.

Re: Only one instance of Bias FX?
I completely agree. At the time I was trying Tonestack, I was going for a Karnivool / Dead Letter Circus kinda tone (so lots of ambient effects, and hi-gain patches), but as I said, the noticeable gap when MIDI channel switching meant I couldn't use it for live purposes. Bias FX is perfect in this s...

Re: MIDI merge
Perfect, thank you. Funny, over-dubbing didn't come into my mind as I'm used to using that term with audio, not MIDI.

MIDI merge
Hi all, I dunno if this is the correct term for this feature, but I'd like to be able to record some MIDI, then add more MIDI on top of it (the same track and region) during a second pass. Eg. I've a MIDI track setup to trigger Drum Session. I pull up Auria's pads and can record MIDI with no issues....

Re: Only one instance of Bias FX?
I'm sorry, but for hi-gain stuff, it's difficult to beat Bias FX (and Bias). Tonestack comes close, but as I wanted to use my iPad as my live amp rig with a midi pedal board (Magnum44 poweramp into Marshall 4x12), Tonestack had a noticeable silence between patch changes which was unacceptable. Here'...

Got anything I can hear?
richardyot wrote:Personally I much prefer the tones in the Overloud THM IAP than the Jamup one, so would recommend that instead. It allows for multiple instances in Auria.

Re: Only one instance of Bias FX?
Thanks guys, I guess in one way it will force me to commit to sounds/tones a lot more. I've always felt an "analysis paralysis" when working on the desktop, simply due to the amount of options always available to me. If needed I guess I can unfreeze tracks and try different options, it's j...

Re: Only one instance of Bias FX?
Yeah, I'm using Bias FX and have a couple of presets that include amp modifications from Bias. JamUp isn't really what I want to use as I also use Bias FX as my live guitar rig (through a Magnum44 poweramp and midi pedalboard into an iRig Pro) and Bias FX simply does much more. So right now the only...

Only one instance of Bias FX?
Hi all, I'm a new user and I'm unsure if there's something I'm doing wrong but when I add an instance of Bias FX to the insert of a track, it works fine. I then pan it and move on to double track. However, as soon as I add Bias FX to the other track, it disappears off the first one. The only way I'v...
