Adding space in the beginning of a song

Hey Guys, So i have a song in auria that basically starts on the first beat, i.e. there is no "room" before various tracks start playing. However, I just decided that i wanted to add an intro to the song, and I was wondering if there's an option to insert empty bars ahead of my present rec...

Re: add new samples to drumagog?

alright -- i guess that means that if i only have drumagog for auria, there is no way to add samples to it?

add new samples to drumagog?

HI, So Rim was very kind as to point me toward a way to add samples to Lyra, but the SFZ-scripting turned out to be too complicated a programming illiterate as myself, so i was wondering if there is a (simple, hopefully!) way to just add your own samples to drumagog? *if yes, fingers crossed that it...

Re: Sampler?

thanks - i actually got it to work (sort of): i moved a kick drum to the "drums"-folder and the keyboard that comes up now plays that kick on all the keys. Two decisive questions though (and again, thanks so much for your patience): 1) It seems that the kick-sample, which of course origina...

Re: Sampler?

Thanks so much for taking the time to answering my questions, Rim. One last thing, though: you say I can see the files, but where, exactly, can I see them in Auria? I feel like I have tried doing this, but nothing pops up; there are still the same old synths (like bass, strings etc.) in the lyra pop...

Re: Sampler?

I'm very pleased to hear that lyra can do this :-)! However, the two answers as to how to do it confuse me; can i add wav files directly to Lyra or can I not (and, almost as importantly, can I add them through itunes/audioshare and not through the actual arrangement window in Auria, which seems like...

drumagog desyncing beats

Hi,

In my eternal quest for the best way to make beat I've come to drumagog, and honestly, it seems awesome if it were not for one thing: when i add an instance of drumagog on a track, it offsets the beat, making it practically useless. Is there a way to prevent this?

thx

Re: Sampler?

I've added the files in many different ways and both as zipped and unzipped files, but I cannot for the life of me find them anywhere when i open the lyra sampler in Auria. If add a number of bass samples too the "bass"-folder under auria (in file manager,) is it supposed to show up as an ...

Re: Sampler?

But I have the samples in various sample libraries, i.e. no recording; would you then import the sample to a track (from dropbox or whereever) and add it to lyra? And how is the latter operation done? It seems like a pretty elaborate operation just to add samples to a sampler...

Re: Sampler?

I tried adding a lyra to each track, but how do i get the samples "into" lyra, and how does lyra recognize them as bass, kick, snare etc.?

Re: Sampler?

Thanks for that tip! However, drumagog is presented as a "drum replacement tool" -- will that also enable me to do what i want with samples (and no replacement per se)? And, furthermore, can it also be used to trigger other, non-rythmic samples such as basslines? Jesus, music production is...

Sampler?

Hi guys, Sorry if this question is old or if it's non-sensical :-) I was wondering if Auria has a plugin where it's possible to add individual drum sounds (single hits of hh, snare, bd etc.), to trigger them via the piano roll in auria and then to route each drum sound to its own channel for mixing ...

Folders in drumperfect?

Hey guys, So, in search of a go-to app for drumprogramming I've finally decided to give drumperfect a go; at first glance, it looks amazing, and I'm really pleased with my purchase. I do have a couple of questions, though, that i hope some fellow DP users can help me with: 1) I have added a gazillio...

Re: Auria constantly crashing

Thanks so much for this advice! And if Auria facilitated an actual workflow, all its options (measured against its relative ease of use when it doesnt crash/screw things up) would be amazing and I would look no further. I just can't waste more time staring at a screen that bars me from doing even th...

Re: Auria constantly crashing

Thx for the reply -- and actually, I've been thinking about moving to Cubasis, but it just hurts so much with the stuff I've already bought in Auria :-( Is Cubasis less buggy in both midi- and normal flow (i.e. less crashes, less unreasonable CPU load due to classicverb on one track, less random mis...
