Re: MIDI bug or normal behaviour!!?

The 2 issues I have highlighted on the forum recently are relatively fundamental flaws IMO. In the case of the midi part that needed re-syncing after a tempo change! that’s not a minor bug. Actually this ‘bug’ came to light after discovering another one relating to sync being messed up after running...

MIDI bug or normal behaviour!!?

I created a midi part, 2 bars long (just a humble click track for tracking drums), I decide to change the tempo, the midi part is now completely out of sync!!!!!!!!!!!?? Is this a bug? Or is this another example of the very odd way in which midi has been implemented in Auria Pro? I’m beginning to fe...

Re: Duplicating regions bug

Ok I tried opening a new project and creating a new click track part, the duplicates in this project are all good. So it seems that the timing in general gets messed up if syncing up an IAA unit, even once that unit has been erased from the project and closed. I suspected that IAA sync might be dodg...

Duplicating regions bug

I created an extra click track line for tracking some drum parts in to a project, the built in metronome wasn’t cutting through the mix. I started by creating a 1 bar region then duplicated it a number of times....but whilst playing along I could hear that something was slightly off, so I started se...

Re: Loop in whilst in record mode!!!

Yes I agree entirely! Expecting the Auria Pro coding team to start implementing ‘loop in record’ of audio would would be too much (although in the long term it would be advisable :D ). But ‘loop in record’ midi!....that should be in place. And I cannot understand why implementing that would impact u...

Re: Loop in whilst in record mode!!!

Perhaps I should have been specific in the thread title regarding MIDI, but I wanted to leave the topic more open.

So to clarify, it’s really just the option of recording midi parts whilst in loop mode that I feel is missing from the current version of AP.

Re: Loop in whilst in record mode!!!

@ mtingle I don’t think so! The audio engine already copes with looping multiple sections of audio if in loop mode....audio and midi are discreet as far as I understand so implementing loop in record of midi information wouldn’t impact the audio engine. Midi info is laid down on a grid of possible p...

Re: Loop in whilst in record mode!!!

It would also be great to be able loop in record of single audio tracks! like my 18 year old version of logic on the PC....what happens in that version (don’t know about modern versions cos I don’t have or need them) is that as the loop flicks round to the beginning, the track is doubled up undernea...

Loop in whilst in record mode!!!

Unless I am missing something it seems impossible to stay in loop mode whilst recording! Whilst I can understand that implementing this for recording audio tracks might be difficult, it should be pretty easy for midi parts...and would be extremely useful. This has been possible in all the major DAWS...

Re: iPad 2 and Auria Pro?

Thanks Rim!

the soft synths and sampler are the least needed so I will give it a go

Like I said primarily midi and secondarily a few audio tracks....I will see how many I can squeeze out of the iPad 2 and report back for any other iPad 2 owners who are considering Auria Pro.

iPad 2 and Auria Pro?

Hi, I am new to the forum and hopefully soon to be a new user of Auria Pro! I held out for Pro as I want midi and from what I can tell without first hand experience Auria seems to be an advance on Cubase for iPad! So I waited only to see the release note on compatible iPads....not iPad 2 like Auria!...
