Is there something in the Menu that would indicate available version updates? Is Auria updated automatically, and can updates be done manually?

My Ipad2 responds along the lines of "not enough power" whenever connected to the Focusrite Scarlett2i2 usb audio interface, even with the Apple camera connection kit. Any recommendations for powerful USB HUB for charging & data-sync for ipad2 and big USB devices?
