Using a Scarlet 2i2...works great. Was doing some drum tracks...2 mics into one stereo track (so that the EQ/Comp would apply to both) and realized later the pan knob just works as a balance control in this setup. I recorded my friend Joe, it was done with Auria- a Scarlet 2i2, MXL V57M on guitars and on a shaker thing (only thing I played-shaker/tambourine type thing) and a Oktava 219 on Vocals. Semi final mix.

I know you can select 16 bit, from the menu, but how does one convert sample rate on a project? Or does it automatically assume if you choose 16 bit you must get 44.1......is that how it works?

And you can only make MONO tracks after you've already created and chosen a project with a set number of stereo tracks right? And you always have the same amount of Aux/Buss tracks/sends? I tried moving a guitar track to a newly created MONO track... saw the mono/stereo option. Didn't make a differe...

This happens with regular reverb too. ANY IDEAS? This is a serious drawback unless I'm missing something......

I'm a little confused as to why this work on a copy and not the original, I might be misunderstanding you though.

On old Beatles/60's stuff the instruments can be panned hard right/left but the reverb seems to be "stereo." Any idea how to do this in Auria. If I pan a track hard right or left with reverb either on that track or the aux input, it still just goes to that side even if it's a STEREO reverb.

Seems to work with the 2i2 I just bought. If I'm running a convo reverb though, and go to record another track, it suddenly takes off the convo reverb and the track is panned to the left? Is it because it can't handle convolution stuff and recording at the same time?

I know the focusrite ITrack solo should be no problem...but the Scarlett 2i2 looks like people are having issues... I'd love 2 mic inputs, don't really need more than that. Will I have issues running say 10-12 tracks with eq/comp/reverb on most tracks? Most stuff I will be doing will be either acous...
