Re: Automation in Cubasis will come in May, any Date for Mid
I have the luxury of owning both Auria and Cubasis because iPad song recording and creation is so important to me. I want to stay current with both platforms. I am so grateful for Auria for its sound engine while I am using my new Steinberg UR-44 and midi implementation will be such a great addition...

Re: Punching in on the fly
I am very new to this forum but not to recording. Manual punch in is critical when recording a client because it is so fast and efficient to just punch in/out on the fly without having to set ranges first. On my PC, I use Studio One with a Presonus FaderPort. It lets me punch in/out with a footswitc...

Re: Need step by step how to bring in Apple Loops
As far as folders, I believe you can do that either with ifunbox, or by putting them in a folder on your computer then zipping it. If I am correct iOS will not allow more than one level of folder though. That may have changed, not sure. Put files in a folder, zip the folder, put zip into auria file...

Re: Need step by step how to bring in Apple Loops
You can do it either way: 1. As described above, timestretch the loops to fit your music after you import or 2. As you import the loops, make sure you choose the timestretch option at the bottom of the import window. This will automatically timestretch the loop based on its original tempo and lengt...

Re: Need step by step how to bring in Apple Loops
Hi Striz, Thanks for the reply. So is it true that Auria does not import Apple Loops that will then respond to tempo changes automatically without needing to time stretch? It seems this is so. I have learned how to time stretch and it is very easy to do. Just want to understand the program better. R...

Need step by step how to bring in Apple Loops
Hi, I downloaded some Apple Loops and added them to Auria through iTunes. Is there a way in iTunes to create a new folder to put them in? I could not put them in the Loops folder. When I launch Auria, add a track, and then import the audio using one of these Apple Loops, they come in fine but do not...

Hello from California
I purchased Auria yesterday and created a rough track of looped drums, electric and bass guitar (using Amplitube for iPad), and sang a vocal by singing real close to my iPad mic. After some EQ, gating and compression, it wasn't that bad! I have a deep background in rock n'roll as a drummer, singer/s...

Re: Size of preview.wav is HUGE
Since you get the same large file size on two different iPads but other projects are not nearly as large, could you have a damaged project? Can you create a new project and bring in the wave files and see how it compares?

Just learned from Zoom technical support that the Zoom R24 is not compatible with Auria or the iPad in case anyone is looking for that direct response.

Steinberg UR-44 use with iPad 2
Does the UR-44 interface work 100% well with Auria on an iPad 2? I am comparing features between Auria and Cubasis but since I do primarily live audio recording, I am hoping Auria will be the best choice for me. Also, with the iPad running on its battery, how much recording time can we do with an iP...
