Re: iOS 7.1 Update
Actually I'm quite satisfied with 44.1 as I have never felt the need to go higher - even with my desktop DAW which can go into the higher sample rates.

Re: iOS 7.1 Update
96K should work fine by plugging in any interface that supports 96K, ,and leaving it plugged in while using that project. I've just found a way to fix this, and will be posting an expedited update very soon. Rim That explains it. I don't think the Studioconnect is capable of 96k. They have one call...

Re: iOS 7.1 Update
Tried it with the interface. No luck. It seemed ok at first (didn't crash out immediately like before) but eventually started showing the same problems. I guess I'll just have to stay away from 96kHZfor the time being. It works fine with 44.1kHZ and 48kHZ.

Re: iOS 7.1 Update
Thanks Rim. I do have an interface (Griffin Studioconnect) that I haven't tried since installing 7.1 - I will post again as soon as I get a chance to try it. However, rather than go back to 7.06 (can I do that? I didn't know I could roll back to the previous version), I prefer to stay with the lates...

Re: iOS 7.1 Update
That red bar will always appear when Auria is in Background Audio mode. This is a normal function of iOS. Rim Yes, I know that now but the bar is blinking/flashing. Oddly enough, I played the .wav file I sent you on Dropbox and it's playable! It's when I play it through Auria that I get the garbled...

Re: iOS 7.1 Update
Correction to previous email. I realize that the red status bar is normal and doesn't necessarily indicate a recording in progress. The blinking, however isn't normal. It looks as if there something running in the background but CPU utilization is low to nonexistent and there is plenty of memory ava...

Re: iOS 7.1 Update
Hi Rim, it's called New Project 1. I noticed another thing. That red status "(recording) Auria" bar on the top edge of the screen is blinking even when there is no recording going on.

Re: iOS 7.1 Update
Thanks for the suggestions and yes, I closed all apps and did a complete shutdown/restart the very first time immediately after getting the crash. One detail I forgot to mention is the Auria doesn't crash all the way out but just to the desktop. At first I thought the problem had something to do wit...

Re: iOS 7.1 Update
Having the same problem, a 96k test file that ran successfully under the previous 7.06 now stutters and/or crashes the app. Looks like a memory issue. My other 44.1 files seem fine so far. I do get output at lower rates (44.1 48) and things are fine at those settings. I'm running Auria on a 32gb min...

Re: Ipad air vs Ipad mini retina?
I was ready to get a 16gb Ipad Air when I walked into the store and ended up walking out with a mini retina 32gb (same price) and couldn't be happier. Same reasons others have covered here apply in my case. Only disappointment was when I hooked up to my old Dell 19" VGA, my Griffin Studioconnec...
