Re: Synching Auria With Genome?

I've never really gotten along too well with Genome but most of what I do is MIDI sequencing. On my eternal quest to leave the computer (iPad doesn't count) out of the equation I've ran across an app for MIDI sequencing that works for me. Pro MIDI https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pro-midi/id766756959...

Re: Memory Usage Question

Thanks Rim, that's what I wanted to know. I meant the samples that I add or record into the timeline.

Memory Usage Question

Just wanted to ask if samples used in Auria are stored in RAM or do they stream from disk? I can't seem to find that info anywhere and I'm trying to make workflow/creation decisions on larger projects that will be the most beneficial to the minimal resources available. I have no problem bouncing to ...

Re: Automation in Cubasis will come in May, any Date for Mid

A lot of people are asking this question ( I want to know too) but Rim has made it clear that there isn't any set date. He's trying to get it done as soon as he can. Steinberg keeps pushing their dates back for Automation and I'm sure they have a small team of developers and much more resources to w...

Re: Controller recommendation please

I thought auria supported transport controls? In settings there is a section on this under midi settings. Auria supports the mackie standard and something else. As far as I know it supports Mackie control protocol. You're aren't going to find a keyboard/slider combo that supports Mackie control. As...

Re: IMPORTING DM1 SONGS INTO AURIA

I was using DM1 pretty extensively last night without any crashes or glitches on a Mini Retina with 7.1 Not sure what's going there. I'm making custom kits with Audio/Copy Paste but mostly working with individual patterns not songs. Maybe you two could try and figure out a common thing you're doing....

Re: Auria + Positive Grid's new Final Touch mastering App??

While it would be more expensive you can do mastering in Auria using the Fabfilter plugins. Between Pro-L, Pro-MB, Pro-Q (in Linear Phase mode), you pretty much have most all of your mastering bases covered and I can tell you they are extremely high quality for this purpose too. I can't say about th...

Re: v1.141 update now available

Great, can't wait to try the new MB fab plug!

I got a little too excited though (don't worry it's not messy) thinking that this was the MIDI update. I can be patient though

Thanks for the update!

Re: Better drum apps?

I don't know about apps for metal, nor do I even know specific metal sound packs (not my thing) but you would probably be best off just buying a good sample loop pack and then just import the audio files into Auria directly.

Re: Apogee Duet 2 vs Duet for iPad

As far as I know, the Duet 2 will charge the iPad while plugged in but the Duet will not because it requires you use the camera connection kit. The Duet 2 has a direct connection as it's made to work specifically with iOS devices. There may be other things but thats the major one in relation to the ...

Re: How are you bringing Drums into Auria?

I have a very large collection of drums loops, original and or otherwise. I keep almost all of them on my iPad in Audio share as well as a lot of single hit drum samples. With the way Auria time stretches in place I'm able to just copy and paste audio loops into auria, stretch them (two finger lengt...

Re: Is the arrival of MIDI also going to bring synths?

Yes I am aware of what Auria has for sale , I already have them all. Have had since their release dates. Yes this is an advertisement for those who need a good midi app until the famous Auria midi arrives. You must know something I don't know because there has been no indication as to when midi wil...

Re: Is the arrival of MIDI also going to bring synths?

You sound like an advertisement...
MIDI is coming; how would this be better than Auria once that happens? Auria already has built in high end fx plugins and ones for purchase from fabfilter etc... To each their own I guess.

Re: Pro-C vs Channelstrip

Pro c lets you do side chain compression which is worth it alone for me. It also just sounds better and has a great display that really shows you what the compression is doing to the audio. Worth more than the $30

Re: Fabfilter Pro L settings

I'm assuming that the squeaking happens in a particular frequency range? You may be best off using Fabfilter Pro-C. It allows you to use its side chain function (Not the external but internal sidechain) to zone in on the frequency range where it happening. Using its listen function you should be abl...
