Re: Recording separate tracks from AUM

If you have the files in the file player, you could just locate the files in Audioshare and copy/paste them into the Auria time line. That's how I do it anyway.

Re: Need help with busses.

This should help you to set up a reverb and an EQ on a channel set as an AUX send:

Re: Need help with busses.

It can be a way to group tracks, or some other routing use. So for example you could create a bus for your drums and send each drum track to that bus, which would create a group which can be controlled with one fader. But you could also send your drums out to two busses, one which might have heavy c...

Re: Audio Unit plugins on aux channel

Yes but there is a bug on the AUX panel effects: latency compensation is broken on the AUX panel, so it will add a delay that matches your project latency to any effects you add there. If you set your project latency to 4096 and add a reverb for example, there will be a clearly audible delay on the ...

Re: Audio Unit plugins on aux channel

Hi, I already replied on the Audiobus forum, but I'll copy and paste my answer here as well: Maybe try adding a regular stereo channel and setting its input as AUX1, adding your AU as an insert on that channel, then dialing in the sends and see if that works. Using the AUX panel on the Master Strip ...

Re: Importing from ITunes

If your specific use-case is to slow tunes down to learn how to play them, I would recommend Anytune Pro: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/anytune-pro/id478293637?mt=8 You can do this in Auria, but it would be quite fiddly. Anytune will do it much better, because you can slow down the music interacti...

Re: Clicks

Freezing is similar to bouncing, except it's non-destructive since you can always un-freeze the tracks later. Only problem is that you can't re-order frozen tracks and my OCD personality can't really live with that, so I always bounce instead - I need to be able to organise my tracks. Regarding late...

Re: Clicks

Bouncing just means rendering the track to audio - it derives from multitrack tape machines where to free up a track you would need to "bounce" tracks together. For example in the sixties on a 4-track tape machine you might have recorded the instruments on 3 of the tracks, so then the engineer mix d...

Re: Clicks

perhaps increase the latency in the settings to 4096. With Lyra instruments (meaning MIDI tracks) the maximum latency available is 512, which is the default, so sadly probably won't help. To the OP: mtingle is right, the problem is arising because the CPU can't render the MIDI cleanly in your proje...

Re: “Real Time” bounce track to audio?

Thanks for the fix Rim. The issue does also happen with other plugins, but I haven't managed to find a 100% reproducible case. Maybe this fix will sort it anyway.

Re: “Real Time” bounce track to audio?

As far as I know, this bug only applies to plugins inserted into an Aux slot. Rim It also happens with inserts. I filed a reproducible case in the bugzilla a couple of years ago, with Drumagog in an insert. It happens with other plugins too though. This is reproducible: add a short percussive sampl...

Re: “Real Time” bounce track to audio?

after I've done a mixdown to a new track I always zoom in and match the transients of the new track to the original. I find that the new region is forward in time by a number of samples (probably the latency setting). This is important to maintain phase accuracy. Yes, this is a longstanding bug. Se...
