Re: Twin 2

I don't think Twin 2 or indeed FF One ever were in the store, they come as standard with any installation of Auria Pro.

Re: Eventide plugin update 29/09/19 crashing Auria Pro

You should always use a track for send effects anyway, because on the legacy Aux channels there's additional latency which will affect your plugins. For example if you have a reverb on one of the legacy Aux channels and your project latency is set to 4096, there will be a delay before the reverb equ...

Eventide plugin update 29/09/19 crashing Auria Pro

Just an FYI in case anyone else comes across this issue: This morning I had an Auria project that would no longer open, it crashed to desktop on every attempt. Since I had opened the project without issue yesterday I thought it might be down to a plugin update, so I checked which apps had been updat...

Re: FX won't stay off

I think it's a bug where AUv3 plugins that are disabled in one session then get re-enabled next time you run Auria. Hopefully Rim can get this fixed in the next update. It should be fairly straightforward to reproduce: Just add an AUv3 effect on a track, then disable the effect in the Channel Strip,...

Re: Midi controller issue

This behavior was changed in last v2.23 update, so you no longer need to record enable a track for using MIDI. Just turn OFF the input of the MIDI track that you don’t want to be triggered by your controller (as in the picture attached). Hope this helps. Rodolfo Yeah....that’s pretty much a dealbre...

Re: New iPad lost projects

iCloud backups unfortunately don't include Auria projects, you need to back those up manually with DropBox, or the Save Project to Other App function, or iTunes. Is there any way you can access the data on your old iPad? Are you sure ? The information about iCloud backups on the Apple Support site ...

Re: The las session can,t save

So in my case I would open a session of an ongoing project, make some changes to the mix and then quit Auria. The next time I would open Auria, all the changes I made in the previous session were lost. The only way I could get Auria to save the changes in any session was to save a snapshot at the en...

Re: The las session can,t save

That happened to me about a month ago, in one specific project. I never did establish what the root cause of the bug was.

Re: Auv3

Yes I never tested AU effects on the AUX slots, I never use the AUX slots because they have latency compensation issues, even with the built-in plugins (for example if you add a reverb to an AUX slot there will be a pre-delay that is equivalent to the project latency setting). It's much more reliabl...

Re: Additional percussion with metronome/click

If you import any MIDI file with drums or percussion mapped to the General MIDI Layout you can easily assign a Lyra sound to them. If you go to the Auria Store there are several free drum packs for Lyra. The ElektroMorph pack has a phenomenal kit called Natural Kit that has multisamples for both vel...

Re: Changing sample rate for new project

Possibly ghost IAA apps that don't get properly shut down. An alternative to rebooting is to do the following: 1) Swipe up to close any open apps 2) Press and hold the power switch on the side of the device 3) When the "Slide To Power Off" message appears, instead of shutting the iPad down press and...

Re: Mainstage Autosampler and Lyra

I think one possible issue is that the autosampler in Mainstage uses local paths on the harddrive, which break as soon as they are exported from the host machine.

Re: Auria and FF Plugins – A way to learn how to record and mix properly ?

Recording acoustic guitars is hard :) So first of all with digital recording it's important to keep the gain low - if you're getting hiss then the gain on the Zoom is too high and the electronics are being pushed too hard. Reduce the gain and record a quieter signal. Then once recorded you can incre...
