Re: Ipad Air 128GB and Auria V Mac Mini and Pro Logic X

Hi Blake, I currently use Fl Studio. Since you use PC it is a PC only DAW or can be used via Mac boot camp. One of the best midi sequencers to date. It's the easiest to use. I bought protools in the past which is great but can be very technical. I do my mixing and mastering on Auria. Such a joy. I ...

Re: Ipad Air 128GB and Auria V Mac Mini and Pro Logic X

Thanks Richard.
Does Auria have midi sync?
If not are there other ways of syncing to Auria?
Also is audiobus a must have app? I would definately be purchasing the Korg Electribe and Ms20 apps?

Thanks.

Re: Ipad Air 128GB and Auria V Mac Mini and Pro Logic X

Strizbiz, Thanks for the reply. I am leaning more toward the Ipad Air. My doubts about it's limitations are getting less and less the more I read threads and get great feedback from forum members like yourself. If I buy an Ipad Air and Auria can I just use the effects processors included in Auria to...

Re: The iPad Upgrade Game

Tarekith,
When you upgrade to the latest Ipad how do you install the apps you purchased for your old Ipad?

Had a listen to your tracks, very nice indeed and they sound very professionally made. Did you use the Ipad to record/mix and master your music?

mrufino1 thanks for the advice. 30 audio tracks sounds pretty busy to me so that shouldn't be a problem. What do you mean by freezing tracks?

Re: Ipad Air 128GB and Auria V Mac Mini and Pro Logic X

Hey thanks Rampan for the advice. In an ideal world where I had the money and the time I would get both. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of either! I have spent more time looking in Auria to be honest I love checking out threads on this forum. The problem I suppose is more with the Ipad itsel...

Re: Ipad Air 128GB and Auria V Mac Mini and Pro Logic X

Hi Bob, Thanks for your take on things. From reading your post you probably are quite like me. I am a guitarist/keys man with 30 years of playing, writing music. I feel very comfortable in any musical circles and feel I can hold my own when playing music with other musicians but when it comes to rec...

Re: Ipad Air 128GB and Auria V Mac Mini and Pro Logic X

Strizbiz and thehigginssociety, Thankyou both for your replies it is greatly appreciated. As Rampan said get both :D . Which I suppose all of us would do in an ideal world. One point that was highlighted was about learning curve. I have to admit my attention span is very limited these days especiall...

Ipad Air 128GB and Auria V Mac Mini and Pro Logic X

Hi Guys, I would like to hear peoples views on whether I should go for an Ipad Air with Auria or a Mac Mini with Pro Logic X. As I see it there are obvious reasons for choosing one over the other ; ie Ipad can be used almost anywhere, whilst the mac mini is far more powerful. Auria, from what I have...

Re: Ipad 5 with Edirol UA25-ex and auria

Hey smj88, Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I am closer to getting an ipad air, just sold a load of hardware on ebay so I now have the money to buy one and auria. Everything seems to stack up well with the for and againsts. The only niggle I have, and you made the point, is the new Ipad air still ...

Re: Ipad 5 with Edirol UA25-ex and auria

Hi djeanhimself, Thanks for your reply. I like the UA25-EX alot, sounds good to my ears especially if your on a budget. I will check out the Roland Duo Capture Ex. It's such a pain that the UA25-EX doesn't come with it's own power, apart from that it's a nice little unit. Apparently the new Ipad Air...
