Re: First album, all done with auria!

Yes sir, live drums. I used 8 mics for the drums, bass and e-gits were direct in, I mostly used thq overload for the sound of the gits, vox and acoustic parts were mic'd. Pretty much all recorded separately. I played drums and did all the recording/ mixing stuff. This was a first for recording for t...

First album, all done with auria!

This is my first real crack at recording. Everything was recorded in my garage using cheapish mics, a presonus 1818vsl, and auria! All mixing and mastering done in auria as well. It's definitely not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty good. Let me know what you think! https://soundcloud.com/ma...

Exporting stems

When mixing down as stems is there a way to specify tracks? For example, say I had a 20 track project and want to export 3 vocal tracks to process in melodyne I have to stem the whole project. Waste of time and space. Am I missing something? Is this possible?

Thanks

Re: Wish list for 2014 for Auria

I would love to be able to "grab drag" and change the order of plugins. For example: compressor, pro Q, pro L in my chain. Now I want to add Saturn between comp and Eq. I have to save my settings, close and reopen in next slot for pro Q and L. Much easier if I could drag to new location in...

Re: How are you bringing Drums into Auria?

I use an audiobox 1818vsl, and 8 mics. Acoustic kit. Set the metronome and hit record. That's really all there is to it.
So much faster and easier to just play the part rather than try to create and import from some app. :D

Re: Effect changing character after freeze or mixdown

I've had this happen from time to time with drumagog. I just unfreeze, then refreeze and it's fine.

Convolution reverb low CPU question.

So there's a very noticeable difference in sound with low CPU on and off. My question is, if I apply reverb, then mixdown my project, does it mixdown what I'm hearing (low CPU) or default to normal?
I've noticed my mix downs sometimes sound different and was wondering if this would cause it.
