Re: deleting the noise
Some tips to a cleaner vocal or acoustic mic-ing is to use a mic with a narrow polar pattern. Lower the mic gain and move closer to the mic this reduces the external noise floor making it more difficult for the noise to compete with your vocal DB range. Use an isolation booth like the VoxBooth. They...

Re: Midi drums from electronic drum kit into ipad.
To edit midi after the midi part has been recorded requires a midi sequencer with editing capabilities. Auria does not have midi sequencing or editing so you must record your midi drums into a midi sequencer first. You can then edit the drums in the midi sequencer on the iPad. Once this is to your l...

Re: Can I add an effect to a region?
Can I add an effect(s) to a region instead of to the entire track? Or, do I need to copy the region to its own track to apply the effect(s)? Yes you can by automating the effect to come in only during that region. You could also automate your Aux1/2 to add the effect during that regions playback. G...

Re: Midi Config for PC1600
That unit doesn't support Mackie MCU or HUI emulation, so it won't work as a remote for Auria. But you can still use it to control plugin parameters on all the FabFilter plugins. Rim Have you tested the PC1600 with Auria? In my research the PC1600 can control ProTools with one of the 7 included pat...

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works
Had some issues with the duet and a powered hub (Belkin). The duet turned on and off, would not work consistently. Followed steps outlined by previous poster (hub into ipad via USB to lightening adapter, duet, mpk25 & FaderPort into hub). Was using external power with all devices. Will experime...

***HAPPY BIRTHDAY AURIA ***
1 year ago today Auria was released in the App Store. I purchased it on that day and I have never looked at my iPad the same again. Looking back on this year, Auria has grown in leaps and bounds. Thanks to everyone at Wavemachine Labs for creating such a wonderful DAW for the iPad. Although there ha...

Re: Latency issues in new update!!!???
I own several Apogee products and sometimes my Apogee locks up. You havecprobably already done this but it doesn't hurt to mention. Have you unplugged the Apogee from the wall or turned it right off or unplug the USB entirely? This can reset the Apogee. Good luck.

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works
Oh and Pete, if you already have a USB to Lighning connecter because you have an iPad 4 with lighning connector than you don't need the CCK kit because that is what the USB to Lightning cable is. In other words you already have what you need to connect the USB powered hub to. You just neet to be abl...

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works
Will pick one up today, I appreciate the info and will report back. One question though, I picked up a USB to thunderbolt adapter and when I tried to hook the FaderPort and the mpk25 directly to the ipad individually (no duet) it said device requires too much power, cannot be used, despite having a...

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works
So far I have only used the FaderPort to record/mix, I would like to also hook up my mpk25 for sequencing drums and recording synths. I am not sure how to best accomplish this. I am running the FaderPort into a Duet and am wondering if I can use a USB hub and get them both in through the duet. This...

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works
Question: Once I have Faderport hooked up, how can I then use an external keyboard? My concern is that if I use the Faderport, I won't have any way to connect other input devices for recording externally into Auria. Will a USB hub allow BOTH the Faderport AND a keyboard to be used together? Otherwi...
