Positively Positive Post
Hi Rim I just did a check to see if there was any news and there it is, Aria Pro in time for Christmas Holiday :) (not sure how that got under the radar!) I had to delete and reload the App to get my synths working but other than that that I am flying. I love the new interface and the user manuals a...

Re: Auria pro midi implementation
I think it will work perfectly.
I am just about to buy BIAS FX myself so I will test it out with some other apps with midi program change and report back.
Future's so bright I gotta wear shades!

Re: BIAS FX
Thanks claudel, If you say it sounds better I will go for it. I am not too worried about IAPs anyway, I tend to need restrictions to work against - give me too many options and I go blank :) I will keep using the integrated Jamup in Auria (higher res than Jamup Pro I seem to remember) for when I wan...

BIAS FX
I am scratching my head about Bias FX at the moment thinking about getting it on the strength of midi control for live play using a midi pedal board etc. I already have Jamup Pro and BIAS AMP as well as the Auria built-in Jamup. In Positive Grid's promotional fluff they mention that BIAS FX is going...

Re: Recommend Your Best Mic
My favourite is my Audio Technica AT4033a. They came out at £650 but you can pick them up for about £300. I use it for most things - sometime paired with an AKG C2000 (£100) on accoustic instruments. https://www.soundonsound.com/sos/1996_articles/nov96/at4033a.html If you are on a much tighter budge...

Re: New Auria user!
Good choice, you will not regret it This forum is great and be aware that there are many (such as myself) who have no problems at all so do not feel the need to post, but come here anyway for tips, heads-ups and warnings - and of course to check up on how close we are to midi integration :) I would ...

Re: Audiobus 2 is out
They could have waited until Rim had a chance to finish midi, now the pressure is really going to ramp up... I think a list of audiobus apps which have side chain inputs etc is in order so we can share presets of weird modular app combinations. The mind boggles at the potential modular beasts we can...

Re: Praying for MIDI in auria
I love Rim's work so I am happy to wait until he gets it how he wants it before releasing I know it will be amazing and a joy to work with In the mean time I do my stuff on a MacBook Pro and a custom PC using Reason and Digital Performer. Believe me, once you have your head around making those two p...

iOS7 - safe yet?
So - now we are up to 7.0.2 is it safe to upgrade yet? I am still holding out at the moment on my ipad mini - iVoxel and Harmony voice have not been updated and I am playing with them at the moment. I am happy to carry on with IOS6 until we get midi implementation but if the problems are ironed out ...

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?
+1 for the Roland duo Capture EX (Not the horrible Mk 2 which feels like a cheap plastic pencil case) I have been using mine for months now and it is a pleasure to use both with microphones and DI instruments I travel with a Duracell rechargeable battery charger and spare batteries and swap them out...

Re: 2 New Brilliant Apps
Did some AB recording with Nave tonight.. Noticed that although some of the presets did stutter, they could be fixed by simply turning off the Nave reverb. As much as I like the Nave reverb, it seems a bit CPU hungry and I prefer to add reverbs in the mix anyway (ie Auria) Great tip, thanks for tha...

Compatable Sequencers
Hi guys I wondered if anyone has tried running a sequencer alongside Auria using midi timecode yet. I would like to do some recording in a couple of weeks on my holiday and was hoping to buy a simple sequencer to use until Auria gets ..... (too excited, I just cant say it). I would like to do a bit ...

Re: No AAF to Digital Performer
Ahah - Stems RTFM* alert! I haven't got that far into the manual! I may just dump the idea of using aaf and stick with stems after doing a few searches to see if anyone had similar issues I get the impression aaf can be a bit unpredictable and you still have to do quite a bit of housework after impo...
