The file size in the header matches only the audio part, not in total with the tiny data after the audio. With the next update Bitwig will be less restrictive. But maybe this...

I still can reproduce the issue. If I open the file in audacity and export again with the same parameters ( bit and sample ) rate I can open the file in Bitwig. There must be an issue in one or both of the endpoints

+1 for MIDI clock and Start/Stop in short term, Full blown MIDI is not essential

At lease MIDI Clock sync, Start Stop would be essential for a DAW. I voted for Yes, but a full blown MIDI implementation not required in short term.

I attached my Teenage Instrumments OP-1 to the iPad, and wanted to import a track. Pre-listen in the file manager is ok, but the imported result in Auria sounds totally distorted. I ensured that there is no distortion plugin of course. Sounds like a bug. Any clue?
