Can you bypass the iPad camera connector kit and use the iPad charge lead with a USB A to B Adaptor on the end? So that USB B end goes straight into a Focusrite Scarlett?

I think everyone is missing a important factor and not reading. I need 2 stereo tracking running to two separate outputs. If I just needed mp3s is use the iPod player on the iPad lol.

That's a £600-700 solution rather than £150!
