crash on pressing mixdown
As the title describes. Haven't been using Auria for a while but have upgraded. Projects load and play fine but when pressing Mixdown Auria crashes, but only on some projects, not all (about 8/16). Trying to find a pattern but no luck yet, will keep looking. All apps closed and have rebooted iPad. L...

Re: Metronome/Tempo section difficult to open?
For some reason this one is a double tap, don't know why. Could that be the issue you're having?

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Thanks Rim, you posted just as I was writing this. I think what's below is still partially valid although the internals don't clip I guess it's still good to keep them in the ballpark. Thanks ------ For anyone interested an interesting old post here: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-li...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Strange response Phil. The thread is called 'Ask the recording experts'. I'm not a recording expert but I'd like to learn more, hence the question. The thread was originally started as a sort of ask about audio recording/engineering principles as it applies to Auria. I'm just someone who asks 'why' ...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
No prob Washboy, you have my point. My post wasn't questioning that prefader/postfader isn't working as it should, it is working as expected. Just that having the Auria default to prefader and having to change it to post for every project got me wondering that there must be a good reason for it that...

@Kat
Either you've got Cubasis and Auria around the wrong way, or Auria's got a colourful new UI

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Thanks guys, when I read the posts my immediate reaction was duh, obviously. So I went and tried it out, but the pre fader/post fader setting makes no difference to the input level display of the meter, it shows the raw signal coming in which is only affected by the actual input signal (external) an...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
I've been meaning to ask this for some time and I've just been reminded by another post. Is there an expert out there who can tell me what the use of pre fader metering would be? It doesn't make sense to me to have the meter display the recorded level and not display the level that is actually being...

Re: Drum loops running hot
The commercial loops have been recorded and processed to be really hot, but they don't clip when the fader is left at 0. In other words they've been recorded and processed to use the full dynamic range available without clipping. I just bring them down using their channel fader. Make sure you have m...

Re: Wish list for 2014 for Auria
I would love to see the Bug List and Update Status sticky updated. :P I really miss this too. I used to enjoy watching the bugs getting squashed and the progress being made. Rim probably has good reason, but I liked it, always felt like I knew what was coming up in the next version. It's all a myst...

Re: Plugin Wishlist Thread
Another thread got me thinking about this, and ajmack requesting EZdrummer. I'd like iGog as a plug in or IAA app. I know it seems to have been abandonded but it has the potential to be a bit of a game changer. Imagine it integrated into Auria, and able to load gog files from Auria's gog directory. ...
