Re: Ipad air happy but sad

There's no particular difference in a bus compressor vs. channel compressor. Different compressors are sometimes outfitted with different options. In the case of the bus compressors in auria, they have a blend knob to mix the dry and compressed signal (parallel compression), and an auto release sett...

Re: Recording 16 tracks simultaneously using IPad 2 16gb?

Octopre is an 8 ch preamp with adat output and would plug into the 18i20 to give you your other 8 mic preamps. Make sure you set one device as your master clock (ask me how I learned that! Twice...) I don't know the octopre well, but if it only has an adat out then it will need to be the master. But...

Re: Ipad air happy but sad

You're running reverb on every track, any particular reason? Using your aux bus to send to reverbs is far more efficient. Also, if you're playing in a band, every instrument will it be completely in its own space, so having the same reverb (with different levels going to it) across different parts t...

Re: Recording 16 tracks simultaneously using IPad 2 16gb?

You probably will need to change the disc buffer to large. Also make sure you have enough free space on your iPad, not just for the tracks but working space too. Also, I think I'm correct in saying that using the channel strips while recording will not write those changes to the track unless you bou...

Re: Audiocopy/paste problem

I've had all sorts of problems with audio copy since ios7. I never really used it that much anyway, but it doesn't work with 24 bit files and even with 16 bit I haven't found it to be too reliable.

Re: Love the product - Bluetooth Support Badly needed!!!

I have a Bose sound link and it is a cool reference. The 1/8" input on the back makes it easy to use with auria. Just get an 1/8" to 1/8" cable and you're in business.

Re: Reset session?

Whenever I have used that, it only resets faders, pans, and aux sends, but all if the channel strips and inserts remain. It would be handy to have a "session reset" if that makes sense. Maybe an option, as leaving the inserts intact would have it's own use too.

Reset session?

Is there an option to completely reset a session? There is a reset mixer option, but that only seems to affect the faders, pans and aux sends. If I want to completely zero it out, having all plugins removed, channel strips reset, etc, that would be a huge help. I could save a snapshot when I start, ...

Re: Ipad Air 128GB and Auria V Mac Mini and Pro Logic X

Many. I have projects with 30 tracks and they're fine. I freeze tracks with hungry plugins (Saturn, drumagog, old timer, timeless, etc), but that's not a difficult situation to deal with.

Timeless 2

Wow, I just bought timeless, incredible plugin!!! I wasn't sure how much I would need it since I already have psp echo, but they are very different. I have barely scratched the surface with timeless, but already it's flooring me on vocal tracks that I'm mixing. Just thought I'd share that.

Re: Recording Jam Up wet signal

I don't have the plugin, so I can't speak to how it performs in auria. I have the standalone version and I use it the way I described. Bias is amazing, and can export the amps to jamup. I gravitated to jamup initially because I'm a bassist and they had some models meant for bass. I saw that ampkit a...
