The difference: the first time I renamed the backup file when prompted (from ...bk_2 to ...bk) and then had Auria save the file, with the result that most regions were empty. Now I let Auria save as proposed, (... bk_2) and all is fine, everything is there. S...

Re: Stereo and Mono
OK... I saw Audacity can do this but maybe there an iOS app which can do this?
Its not a big deal, I just want to "save" some of my old GB recordings and process them further in Auria.

Re: Stereo and Mono
Dear friends, another issue in Mono/Stereo: All tracks I had imported from GarageBand and audiopasted into Auria (via e-mail export from GB as m4a and LPCM/WAV conversion in AudioShare) appear as stereo tracks, also those I had recorded from a mono source (guitar/bass). Depending on the pan setting ...

Studio monitoring speakers directly into iPad and Auria...
Hi everybody, is it possible resp. recommended to connect (active) studio monitors directly to the iPad using the headphone output? I would not want to buy an extra audio interface as I have an Apogee Jam and Mic... Mixing and mastering using headphones is not recommended I am aware...

Try also MusicStudio 2.0. It contains strings and all kinds of other good sounding instruments, and you can also audio copy and paste into Auria.
