Re: Importing saved .prj from Dropbox
@Gary : Perhaps you won't have to do everything over. Have you tried importing ('Menu -> Import File -> Dropbox(tab)') the individual WAV files into a newly-created project from your Dropbox backup project?

Re: Importing saved .prj from Dropbox
Hi Gary. Can I ask, what's the purpose of "Created a new audio track" if you intend(ed) to load a different project immediately afterward? Not a criticism, just trying to understand your workflow.Gary wrote:Created a new audio track.

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Many of the folk here will want to help you, Chris, but in order to have anyone identify the cause of your difficulty I think you'll need to provide more info. There are too many possible causes to suggest them all at random. You could start with a screenshot of your Mixer view/screen (and perhaps y...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Do you have any tracks solo'd (is the Solo indicator, at top centre of screen, flashing)?

I've no idea what you're doing wrong (if anything) but this is the sort of thing you should be seeing:

Re: Automation on a bus
From the Edit (/tracks) view/screen, 'Edit -> Show -> Show Sub/Master Tracks'. Then you can access the automation data for the subgroups.

Re: Importing Wavs
Good to have confirmation, @Rim Is it possible to undo @ALCAM 's New Project dilemma by reinstating a default template without having to completely reinstall Auria in the process?Rim wrote:That is indeed a bug. I've added this to my list to fix for 2.05.

Re: No "Pro" Drop-Down in the Waveform View
You need to increase the height of your tracks in order to expose all the drop-downs and buttons in the track headers. Pinch (or should that be un-pinch?) vertically on the tracks area to zoom in.

Re: Importing Wavs
Hmm, that is odd. Here is what happens when I press new project. A dialogue appears that says 'Loading project' and then it completes the load with a file named 'New Project 9' or whatever the next number in the list is... [snip] ...It all started when I saved a file with the command 'save project ...

Re: Importing Wavs
Apologies, @ALCAM. I've just read your original post and see that you're not using Auria Pro  Standard Auria doesn't have the project templates facility. So I'm not sure what you mean when you say you've "made a template file". It would be helpful to see a screenshot of what you see ...

Re: MIDI & Live Vocal in the Same project
Hey, glad it all made sense, @IndieP ! Yes, MIDI quantise is what you need. It's a sort of "snap to grid", where you specify the grid size (1/16 note, 1/4 note, etc.) according to your needs. You'll probably want to experiment with the quantise parameters but you can undo if you get them w...
