Re: Ipad 4 and Apogee Mini Me
It works but you have to plug the Mini-Me through a powered hub: Mini-Me -> Powered USB hub -> CCK -> iPad One thing to note is that some people report that some powered hubs work and some don't. I used a cheap $10 Belkin 4-port with my Mini-me and it works fine. There's a thread on this board discu...

Re: Updating!!!!
This is the only thing that worked for me: IPad 2, wifi only, 64 GB, iOS 6.0.mtingle wrote:....had to delete app and re-down load. seems to work now
The updated Auria kept crashing on start up without a chance to intervene even after closing all apps and rebooting.

Re: USB hub no power or apple cck kit needed, look here.
Apologies Baynes, I'm now experiencing the same thing as you. After a few minutes it gives out and the audio collapses: I'm left with one active channel and weird behaviors in Auria (couldn't get one channel's record ready button to disable). BTW, is your LED red or blue? Foster's is red, mine is bl...

Re: Drum Machine/Apps that work with Auria?
A lot of great suggestions here but I ended up with EZDrummer and Steve Slate 4 Essentials on my pc. I can create the tracks in Reaper and then just import them into Auria. On another note, it looks like I won't be able to use Auria to record my album because it just doesn't run well enough on an i...

Re: USB hub no power or apple cck kit needed, look here.
...Recently I've bought a USB hub from eBay mentioned in this topic. However, I have some problems with it... Yesterday I've bought a Focusrite Scarlett 18i6. I connected the USB hub, the 18i6 and Auria was getting input and output to the device. But again, suddenly there was no input or output fro...

Re: Drum Machine/Apps that work with Auria?
Wouldn't it be useful for Auria just to generate MIDI Clock and SPP via Core Midi based on tempo and time signature? Or even MTC? (Midi Time Code). That's the way we used to sync tape decks and drum machines/sequencers, and for a time DAWs too. That would let you build your drum track in whatever an...

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread
I just want to confirm that the Apogee MinIMe USB is works with Auria: - 44.1 or 48kHz, 24-bit. - Stereo out from iOS works (headphone return) - Stereo in to iOS works - it requires a powered hub and the CCK (It can in principle also work without the above if you use the "magic" Hub discus...

Re: USB hub no power or apple cck kit needed, look here.
Thanks for the tip! I ordered one of these off Amazon for $8.69 with free shipping from Hong Kong. I'll let you know if it works when I get it in a month or so. Get it yet? :D [I'VE REVISED THIS POST AS IT SEEMS THAT INITIAL POSITIVE RESULTS WERE IN FACT TEMPORARY... LONGER USE HAS REVEALED ...

Re: USB hub no power or apple cck kit needed, look here.
Foster, thanks for posting this. My first concern of course is that Apple will lock this out eventually but it's a great asset for now and I ordered one. The ad says it works with "mobile hard disks": did you happen to try that? Mind you, I'm pretty sure iOS won't let us transfer Auria pro...

Re: Tascam US-200
The last word on the Tascam US- series of interfaces is that only the US-800 is a viable candidate for IOS because it's the only one that supports core audio and core MIDI. NONE of the others in the series work. PERIOD. It would seem that Tascam completely missed the boat on this model by about 2 ye...

Re: Charge on iPAD using usb interfaces
Also important to consider is the use of the CCK (Camera Connection Kit). The CCK is designed to provide power externally to a device from the iPad's own power, so there's simply no way to charge an iPad while the CCK is in use. Using powered devices or a powered hub palliaties the problem so that a...

Re: Tascam US-800: Not available. How about US-600 ??
I've been using the US-800 very successfully with Multitrack DAW for a while, recording 8 channels simultaneously including the 2 Digital inputs locked to external S/PDIF clock. The way to set up the US-800 is to plug an active S/PDIF signal into the US-800 before turning it on. Then plugging its US...
