Re: Help what settings do I need to get the usb return to my soundcraft signature 12 mtk

Use the OUTPUT MATRIX to assign each track to a seperate output channels. You can also do this in the mixer window. Each track has an input and output tab but you will need AuriaPro to do it from the mixer window otherwise just use the output matrix. Press the USB return button n each of your channe...

Re: Bug pan knobs , and solo mute buttons.

Yes this is a bug and it doesnt require a controller to produce the bug. Simply put sometimes the mute and solo do not show up in the editor screen but do appear on the mixer. This bug has been around for years. As for hui, mcu, mackie controllers there are many more bugs that have also been around fo...

Re: Overdubbing with Auria

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the Buffer size which is what affects latency durring recording. It defaults to 512 but that setting has a good amount of record latency. A setting f 128 or lower is more usable. When mixing and not recording set this buffer as high as it will go 4096. Cheers and sor...

Re: Sound quality cheap vs expensive inter.

There are plentyof tutorials on youtube on how to record acoustic guitar. There are many ways to do it using many different mic, placement, preamp, ect. My advice is to experiment. Try different mics and placement. New strings really help. It really depents on the sound your looking for. There is no on...

Re: Overdubbing with Auria

First make sure you have Record Monitor on in AuriaPro’s record settings. Set your latecy setting to a lower size like 128 or 64. Your X18 should have direct monitoring so you can monitor directly from your X18 mixer input and not the round trip from X18 to iPad and back to X118. Also don’t record w...

Re: Automating sub-channels

In the editor window tap EDIT, tap SHOW tap SHOW SUB/MASTER TRACKS. Now scroll to the bottom of the edit screen and you will now see the sub and master tracks and all automation is the same as usual. This is in the Auria Manual. Cheers.

Re: Song from itunes

Various apps can access iTunes purchases. I use AudioStretch for example. I can open the song in AS, then export and open in Auria. I can also choose whether this is a wav or m4a. Yes I know this but My recommendation was a way to do it for free. You also forgot to leave a click by click instructio...

Re: How to save as new project

Yes thats what I said, snapshots are snapshots of a particular project. If you whant a different snapshot set that is outside the project then you will need to create a new project for each of your setups. So what your thinking is that you can be in a project, mess with it and then save it as a uniq...

Re: How to save as new project

You don’t want to save a project but rather save a snapshot since your always in the same project, thats why saving the project overwrites the project. So Save snapshots whenever your in the same project. Don’t forget to name each snapshot with a unique name so that youdon’t write over a snapshot. D...

Re: Song from itunes

You cannot do this from within your iPad for free. There are some apps that get around the iTunes agreement and your welcome to purchase them. For free you will need to use iTunes on your computer. The song must be on your desktop computer in iTunes but thats easy because any song on your iPad from ...

Re: Basic Midi note editing....missing something?

To move a note in the piano roll midi editor. Tap the note and hold, the note border will turn red, once it turns red you can move it to wherever you like. Use the snap function to land the note exactly where you want it. You cannot move the note unless it turns red. Cheers and good luck.

Re: Automation

The best way to enter small timing for values like 1/8,1/16 note, just set your snap value to those beats like 1/16 and zoom into the track until you see the grid lines that represent that value. Also you should be vertically zoomed so that you are looking at only the track your automating. I can’t ...
