Re: Bounce in place AUM

No you can’t and I’ll explain why. AuriaPro sends it’s midi out core midi to AUM, AUM then directs that midi data to the Au3 plugin. So it is AUM that needs to mixdown or bounce in place the Au3 midi plugin. AuriaPro can only bounce in place plugins that are within AuriaPro as AuriaPro is completely...

Re: importing drum loops, soft drummer into Auria pro?

I use the multitrack loops as it is more like mixng real drums and is very useful when automating the drums through the track. I’m not sure why you can’t hear your recorded track of Soft Drummer. If the waveform is on the track then you should be able to hear it. I suggest ejecting Soft Drummer from...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS

I would use eq and compression to bring the 808/sh101 up to the level and impact of the newly added track. Take a look at the frequencies that make up the rythm track using ProQ, then look to see if any of the other tracks are using the same frequencies. If they are, try to make room for the rythm t...

Re: FabFilter Plugin Full Screen Mode

How do you enable optimized mode? Can't find it on the 10.5. Optimized mode is only for the iPad Pro 12” not the 10.5” model. To go in and out of full screen mode of the Fabfilter plugins that go into full screen mode like ProQ2,ProL2,ProC2, simply tap the little square located on the top right cor...

Re: Output Aux effects to stems

Here is whats going on. In AuriaPro the Aux send are sent to Aux Buss which is pre the Master. So the Aux is only included in any mixdown that includes the master buss. So this stem mixdown feature will only include any FX on the track and any automation so if you want level changes to be included i...

Re: Can Auria record simultaneous MIDI tracks from virtual MIDI ports?

Yes I can help. AuriaPro has been having its midi function change lately where some things have become hidden and are not revealed in the manual. Its is only from countless hrs testing AuriaPro that I can eventually find the cause. So after you tap copy in the piano roll editor window, don’t leave t...

Re: Can Auria record simultaneous MIDI tracks from virtual MIDI ports?

Hi there, this topic has been covered many times on the forum as I have answered many questions regarding this setup because I too have a Roland TD drum kit and module. Here is what is going on. The Roland module does not allow each pad of the kit to send its midi data on a seperate midi channel. Th...

Re: Can Auria record simultaneous MIDI tracks from virtual MIDI ports?

Midi is not seperated by ports but rather midi channels. So I suspect that you are not selecting a midi channel for each track. I dont know why your using an external midi app with AuriaPro as you can record up to 16 midi channels at once in any daw including AuriaPro. So you mention the midifire ap...

Re: Help what settings do I need to get the usb return to my soundcraft signature 12 mtk

Use the OUTPUT MATRIX to assign each track to a seperate output channels. You can also do this in the mixer window. Each track has an input and output tab but you will need AuriaPro to do it from the mixer window otherwise just use the output matrix. Press the USB return button n each of your channe...

Re: Bug pan knobs , and solo mute buttons.

Yes this is a bug and it doesnt require a controller to produce the bug. Simply put sometimes the mute and solo do not show up in the editor screen but do appear on the mixer. This bug has been around for years. As for hui, mcu, mackie controllers there are many more bugs that have also been around fo...

Re: Overdubbing with Auria

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the Buffer size which is what affects latency durring recording. It defaults to 512 but that setting has a good amount of record latency. A setting f 128 or lower is more usable. When mixing and not recording set this buffer as high as it will go 4096. Cheers and sor...

Re: Sound quality cheap vs expensive inter.

There are plentyof tutorials on youtube on how to record acoustic guitar. There are many ways to do it using many different mic, placement, preamp, ect. My advice is to experiment. Try different mics and placement. New strings really help. It really depents on the sound your looking for. There is no on...
